Fabulous. Both the house and grounds are full of charm and character. Could not wish for more!

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing stay at Ty Bois, so quiet and peaceful. The property was extrmelly well equipped and had everything we needed, plus lots of extras. The grounds are enchanting, with areas of grass, the lake- with the little rowing boat and the paths through the woods where we had many a walk and explore with our spaniel, Sid. Loved all the swings located throughout the grounds. The terrace area was perfect for sitting relaxing and enjoying meals and drinks, overlooking the gardens and the surrounding countryside. The pool was also great for a dip on the warmer days we had. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit in the surrounding area of Brittany, and we found everyone to be really friendly and very accommodating with our limited knowledge of the language. We felt very chilled out and content after our stay at Ty Bois and would highly recommend it. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mitzi for sharing such a fabulous place to stay. Pippa, Anthony and Sid

Relaxing, unique and fun

  • 5 of 5

We have two boys, 6 and 3. Both have a lot of energy. Ty Bois was perfect for all of us. We had a lot of treasure hunts and swims,BBQs and hide and seek. We loved our stay. They enjoyed seeing the cows and tractors next to us. One day they saw a hare - which was thrilling. Days out at the beach in rock pools and renting bikes. There is a 'go ape' style course nearby which was great. My husband made a fire every night in the wood burner. He loved it. We didn't watch telly for two weeks - out of choice. They boys enjoyed the kids DVDs when down time was needed.

I would completely recommend Ty Bois to anyone who needs a break from all distractions. ( there is wifi if you just need to sneak onto the internet while no one is looking)

Outdoor pool was great for the kids. Lovely property. We loved the wildlife around the house, lizards, bats, birds. You really felt away from it all. Plumelieau was nice. Good village feel to it and people very pleasant.

Great location, quiet and relaxing

  • 4 of 5

Just what the doctor ordered, waking up when we wanted to, only birdsong and mooing to wake up to.

Smelt a bit doggy but after all it was a dog lovers heaven.

But apart from that it was a great place to stay, comfy beds, well equipped kitchens and bathrooms, away from it all.

Relaxing woodland retreat

  • 5 of 5

From the drive into Ty Bois we were in French paradise, the property itself is well equipped and comfortable and if it wasn't for needing to buy food you could stay here all week and not see a soul.

The dogs loved the woodland to run through and the pond to swim in and we ourselves enjoyed the pool.

Its ideally located to visit the sights in and around Brittany and is close to some fabulous dog friendly beaches.

I would recommend this property for anyone wishing to get away from it all and enjoy pure relaxation and for dog lovers.

Beautiful location and very well equipped, waking up to the sound of birdsong, tranquil and peaceful, no hesitation in booking again. Thank you for the welcome pack supplies and comprehensive guide to the house and local information. We tried the Cheval Blanc in Baud and had a fabulous lunch there.

Or if you are the energetic type with in easy reach is the go-karting, Plumeliau, canoeing, archery St Nicholas des Eaux, horse riding and 9 hole golf at Gieuzy-les-Eaux, the forest adventure park, zip wires, tree top adventures at Camours, sailing, water ski-ing, jet sking either at Lac de Guerledan.
