About this property

We have named our latest addition a one bedroom little house Casa da Amêndao, it stands at the heart of our 2-hectare estate Casa Nova Safra in Moncarapacho.
Surrounded by almond trees, this is an ideal place for relaxation and bird watching.

The house will accommodate up to two visitors in a studio setting of 32 square meters, a living space with a kitchen area, separate bedroom with double bed and bathroom with walk-in shower.

A centrally located air conditioning to facilitate a comfortable holiday environment all year round.

Adjacent to the cottage in your private garden is a small dipping pool that offers you the chance for pleasant cool-downs in the heat of the day in the summer time.

Enjoy the many bird songs in the morning while eating your breakfast in nature. There is a lounge sitting area with barbeque and lounge chairs next to the pool.

Casa Nova Safra is located in nature with fast access to the national roads or the highway to visit one of the beautiful villages or cities Portugal has to offer. Fuseta beach or the ferries to Ilha de Farol and Armona is a 10 minute drive from Casa Nova Safra.

Location bien située pour découvrir l'Algarve.

Nous avons apprécié cette location pour deux personnes : son emplacement au calme, dans un environnement naturel avec proximité de l'autoroute pour découvrir la région. Trois points négatifs: piscine naturelle avec beaucoup de dépôts au fond - canapé inconfortable - absence de laverie comme précisé dans l'annonce (laverie automatique).

We are Mildred and Alex and we’ve been enjoying beautiful blue skies and sunny days in the Eastern Algarve since 2015. We have build three complete and modern holiday homes and our own house on our property of 20.000 m2 named Casa Nova Safra in Moncarapacho.

How did we come to this?

Mildred had already met this peaceful and pretty country and knew the area around Porto, she had very fond memories of the people and general atmosphere in Portugal. When I first visited, it was love at first sight— it reminded me of the Dutch summers from my childhood.

In the following years we decided to visit a different part of Portugal every year in order to get to know the country better. The climate in the Algarve is our favorite, spring and summer are the only two seasons. We became increasingly fond of Portugal and the Algarve and decided to leave our houseboat in the Netherlands and make Portugal our new home. We wanted to share this amazing country and region with others and decided to built 3 vacation homes. On our property we have Casa da Laranja, Casa da Nêspera and Casa da Amêndao. Our homes are open to all people from near or far, gay or straight, for a short stay or for a longer stay. See you soon!
