Unfortunately I have been forced to leave a negative review for this property due to being repeatedly ignored by the management company, and not receiving the money back that we were promised by email (I have written proof!). The property was overall very clean and comfortable, and we were very pleased when we first arrived. However, the hot tub - the main reason we booked it - was very dirty. It had clearly been used by previous occupants with lotion or sun cream on, and was full of scum and foam. It obviously hadn't been cleaned between occupants. Despite much back and forth with the management company and several visits from a 'pool guy' they never undertook a full clean and it remained dirty and unusable until we were forced to make a real fuss. The most they were prepared to do was a partial empty and refill. So we were unable to use the hot tub for half of our visit. Even after that, although cleaner, it was still not properly clean. I have plenty of photos if required.
We were told they would reimburse us £150 for this issue, but since we returned they have not refunded this (despite it being on email that they would) and I am now being ignored. How do I take this forward?
