This beautiful and modern apartments are set at a perfect location at the private condominium Clube Alvor Ria and benefit from beautiful views over Alvor's harbour and the swimming pool.

They are only a few steps away from the village centre and 5 min walk to the beach.

The apartments are large and have a lot of sun light. They have a modern decoration and they are fully equipped with everything that may be needed for a perfect holiday.

The one bedroom comprise a one bedroom with twin beds and the two bedroom apartemnt has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and the other a bedroom with two single beds. Both have a large living room with a dining area with patio doors leading onto the sunny balcony. The kitchens are equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, microwave and all the kitchen utensils that you may need. The apartments offer air conditioning all over and parking inside the condominium.

Wifi is available and optional.

Clube Alvor Ria is a private condominium, set in a 3 floors building, with an outdoor pool, private parking and garage, 2 lifts and a well maintained garden area. The apartment overlooks the swimming pool and the river, has a fabulous view and it is bright and sunny all year round.

Clube Alvor Ria has a privileged location, in front of Alvor’s beautiful river (natural reserve), with its pleasant promenade, and 5 min walk to the fabulous Alvor’s beach with its 4 miles of fine sand. The centre of the fishing village, with several shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets is only a few steps away.

Opposite to the complex, there is a boardwak through the dunes next to the beach, with a fantastic view over the river, where you may have your exercise or just have a relaxing walk.

For Golf lovers, within 5-10 min drive there are Alto Golf, Penina Golf and Morgado Golf. For people who seek some adrenalin , around 15 Km away there is the new Algarve's International Autodromo where you may watch car and moto races as well as rent Karts and have your own driving experience or have active driving lessons at high speed.

Alvor: Alvor is an Algarvian typical fishing village with narrow streets and a beautiful harbour. Alvor's river is a very well preserved natural reserve.

At the river it is possible to do canoeing and river boat trips,

Alvor has lots of shops, restaurants of different types, bars and supermarkets.

Alvor's beach is one of the most beautiful portuguese beaches with 4 miles of white sand and limpid water. It is quite safe to swim at the beach and practice all kinds of water sports. It has blue flag from the European Union which is a flag that is granted to the beaches that have a safe and non polluted environment.

Things to see and to do in Alvor and surroundings: Near Alvor there are many different beaches. All of them very beautiful, some with rocks and cliffs like praia dos Três Irmãos (1 Km away), praia do Vau, praia do Alemão and praia da Rocha (2 Km). You may try all of them during your stay here and also try other Algarve's beaches.

Portimão is the nearest city, 5 Km away from Alvor. There you may find all kind of commerce, a large and brand new Shopping Center (Áqua), another smaller one (Continente), a Retail Park, and a few hypermarkets as well as other shops at the city centre and a beautiful promenade by the riverside, which we highly recommend you to visit and relax at one of the café's terraces while enjoying the beautiful view over the river.

15 kms away there is the new Algarve's International Autodromo where you may watch car and moto races as well as have your own driving experience and have classes at the racing school.

Lagos, 20 Km away is a very well preserved city, where you may take a look at a bit of Portugal's history.

This beautiful one bedroom apartment has a beautiful view over the harbour and the complex's swimming pool. It is bright and spacious. It has one bedroom with two single beds next to each other, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, where can sleep 2 people and cable TV, a dining area with a table and 4 seats. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and all the utensils you may need. The bathroom is fully equipped with bathtub and has hair dryer. The apartment has air conditioning all over and wifi is available and optional. It is fully licensed for rental purposes and classified as "Alojamento Local", having been inspected by the local authorities and complying all security rules. It has fir extinguisher, first aid box.

It is our second time at your apartment. Just love it! The location is fabulous, near the beach, next to the restaurants and bars. In the afternoon we stayed by the swimming pool or at the terrace reading a book. It is such a relaxing view! We will definitely come back.

We returned to Alvor for our third time and this time wanted to stay closer to the amenities and harbour. We couldn't have chosen better. Clube Alvor Ria is situated a short stroll from the beach to the left out of the gate, quayside restaurants and bars across the road and turn right out of the gate to discover many shops, bars and restaurants, the Caravella restaurant a short stroll up the hill in particular served excellent food but is popular so booking a table is advisable.

Back in the apartment there is a fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, full oven and hob and large fridge/freezer aswell as coffee machine and toaster. All glasses, cups, plates dishes pots/pans and cutlery and utensils are provided and are in excellent condition. (no iron though so we would recommend taking a travel iron), the bathroom is fully equiped with shower over bath, vanity unit, with sink, toilet and bidet and is extremely clean. The large twin bedroom has full wardrobe with drawers and a safe (key cost us 10 euros) and there is a large set of drawers under a large mirror. The living/dining area is well equiped with dining table and 4 chairs, settee which can be made into a bed with another pull out bed underneath, two armchairs, a side board, coffee table and tv. There are two air conditioning units, one in the bedroom, the other in the living area and are operated independantly via remote control. Outside there is a balcony with table and three chairs and two sun loungers with cushions. The apartment is extremely clean and all linen and towels are provided. There are security shutters to all windows and on the balcony's sliding doors. Down by the tidy and clean communal gardens and pool area are two dedicated sun loungers for use and a parasol is in the apartment for use on the balcony or down by the pool. There is a lift to all three floors and a remote control access gate for added security. The personal greeting and tour of the apartment by Paula Vidal as well as great communication throughout the booking process made this holiday process a breeze. A car is not necessary as you have everything within walking distance but the Algarve has some wonderful places to visit and is well worth exploring. We would not hesitate in reccomending Club Alvor Ria 445880 for an excellant holiday stay - we'll definitely be back, Thanks Paula

Beautiful setting

The apartment has fabulous views! The apartment was as described and spotlessly clean. It is very close to the village and a car is not necessary. Paula was extremely helpful and I would certainly visit again.

Immaculate Apartment - Beautiful Alvor

This was our first visit to Alvor. We finally decided on Alvor & this apartment after looking at so many. We do not think we could have chosen a nicer location & the apartment was all we needed for self catering as we planned to eat out the whole time. On arrival we were met at Clube Alvor Ria by a friend of Paula's, who let us in & showed us around the rooms. Paula then arrived later on arrival day to introduce herself, she was charming & so helpful with information. The apartment was immaculately clean, with ample room for us, all fixtures & fittings looked new. The view from the balcony overlooking the pool ar.ea was lovely, with further views over the river opposite with the boats moored & onto the promenade area.You have your own swipe card for entry & exit for the complex, so it is completely safe from outside parties The weather was fabulous during our 10 day stay, every day 30c or thereabouts. The eating out experience couldn't be bettered, with about 40 places to choose from, all within several minutes walk from the apartment .Alvor is a lovely safe area for couples & families with not a hint of rowdiness or anybody the worse for drink We will certainly return again next year if possible.

We stayed in Apartment 205 at Clube Alvor Ria in August 2010.

The apartment is airy and spacious, and very clean. It is well maintained and appointed with up to date equipment.

The complex is quiet and ideal for families.

Alvor is a lovely place with great restaurants. We particularly recommend Vagabonds and Raccula.

We will be coming back in 2011

Really enjoyed our stay in Alvor

Having been to Alvor about 4 years ago we felt that although it was a really a lovely place it was probably too quiet for my husband and I at the time, and we had also chosen an apartment that was a good 20 minutes walk from the centre of the village. We said to each other at the time that if we ever had children though this would be a great place to come back to - and next time we would stay closer. So four years down the track we returned with our son and this time we stayed at the Clube Alvor Ria.

It was a fabulous choice - very central (which was great with our son - no long treks), yet still quite quiet. Only 5 -10 minutes to the beach and 30 seconds to the village centre! The complex is very secure, nicely lanscaped, well maintained and friendly.

The Owner was very easy to deal with, the apartment large, air conditioned and had shutters to the terrace doors - which helped our young chap sleep well. All good.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment. The only negative was that it wasn't really decorated to our taste but this is very minor compared to all the great positives.

It took two visits to find this place and it was worth it.

Clube Alvor Ria Summer 2010

What a really good holiday apartment. Clean and decently furnished with necessary equipment. Fine for 2 persons. For 4 would need pull down settee in living room area. Perfect location on river front prom and very short stroll from Alvor's hilltop centre with its restaurants/cafes/bars. Wonderful beaches, again with cafes and exciting dining just a few minutes walk away too. The apartment buildings have a secure entrance and ample parking. Good pool area and well kept gardens. Ideal for young or old. Car hire not essential as all amenities close at hand. Alvor is a very friendly little town, our 4th. visit over and cannot wait until 5th. ! All this and wonderful climate too.!

This is a modern apartment, very well equipped, has beautiful views over the river and the complex's swimming pool. The location is the best in Alvor. The apartment is spacious apartment, furnished and equipded adequatellu for a pefect holiday. It has been refurbished this year. It offers a a lovely view and great sun exposure all over the year. The location of the apartment inside the condominium is fantastic and the condominum's location is superb.

Alvor's fine sand beach is only 200 metres away. The beach is one of the best of Portugal with 4 miles of white sand. On the east side of the beach there are beautiful rocks and coves.

Only 5 to 10 minutes drive there are a few golf courses such as Alto Golf, Penina Golf (Sir Henry Cotton Championship) and Morgado Golf (all of them with 18 holes).

Alvor's village is 50 mts away from Clube Alvor Ria and there you may find all kinds of shops, typical and international restaurants, cafés, bars and supermarkets. 20 mts away there is a sports complex with heated indoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a football field.

Portimão, the nearest town is 5 Km away, the historical city of Lagos is 15 Km away and Algarve's capital, Faro and the Algarve's International Airport are 65 Km away.

Golf: Within 5-10 minutes drive there are some Golf Courses (Alto Clube Golf, Penina Golf Course and Morgado Golf). About 30 minutes drive you may find Vilamoura with two Golf Courses, Vale do Lobo and Salgados Golf.
