About this property

A Quiet Town with a Fishing Problem. Great Way to Avoid Hotel/Motel Crowds!

My Grandfather bought this property in 1966 from the mayor of Daytona Beach. It was two lots with a two bedroom wooden home and a cinder block garage. In 2007 my father demolished the old home and built a beautiful two story river home, it is located 30 miles from Daytona Beach and 90 miles from Orlando. Dual stall covered boat lift for boats. One slip is available, additional slip is $50 per day. A great getaway for peace and quiet. Wet a hook or take a nice tranquil boat ride. The home is strictly a vacation home with never a permanent resident. It is very pristine and still looks brand new. 30 and 50amp camper hookup in the driveway. Additional $100 per day to hookup. All vacationers have been very impressed, commenting that my amateur photos do not do justice! Service is my main concern, I want to exceed all vacationers expectations!
Great attractions to enjoy:

This could become an annual “thing”
Our family has been coming to fish in this area for a few years now, and finding this house to stay in was a treasure. Everything we needed was right on the property! After putting our boat in the water we never had to remove it again until we were headed home that is to the boat slip. Our fish were cleaned at the cleaning station on the docks and quickly put away for freezing. Each afternoon we either relaxed while overlooking the river on the dock or the back porch. The house was roomy enough for my family of 4 and the grandparents to congregate when we wanted and separate when we wanted! I can’t say one bad thing about Dave or the home his family is willing to share with world. He even led us in the right direction for meals away from the house.

Wonderful and Relaxing
Always a wonderful and relaxing stay! The house if very comfortable and well stocked. The shaded screened porch and yard makes for a very relaxing outside experience, including the hammock! The dock is wonderful as well with shaded swings and furniture.

Nice Property - Awesome River
Nice property. Got to fish the St Johns and we caught several species, including one nice bass. Quiet neighborhood, except for bridge noise. AC worked great once I figured it out. TV setup was complex and hard to manage - probably need to update to just a smart tv. Also lots of bees at the dock to be addressed. Highly recommended place to stay on the river!!!

Spring getaway to Florida
There were 5 adults, trailered 3 bikes for bike week. Location was centrally located to places that we were interested in visiting - friends in Leesburg, Bike week in Daytona area and the surrounding area was great for riding. Drifters was close by and served great food, looking forward to when Tiki bar is open. Accommodations were above expectations, very relaxing, always looked forward to being there at the end of the day. Our host Dave was available if we needed anything, super nice guy.
