Located just steps from the gondola and ski school, this adorable condo is situated perfectly for the beginner or advanced skier. Ptarmigan House is conveniently located for easy access to the slopes, shops, restaurants and entertainment.

This renovated 1BR, 2BA condo has it all. A true 1 bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom is private from the rest of the unit. The main living area is huge with a queen murphy bed, a queen pull out sofa sleeper, a gorgeous dining table for six, a fully equipped kitchen and a second full bathroom. Sleeps up to 6 people comfortably with over 800 square feet of space.

The condo has two TV's with digital cable, DVD player, MP3 hook-up, free Wi-Fi, gas fireplace, bench seat at entrance to unit, lots of hooks and cubby holes for all your "stuff", private deck and this is the only rental condo in the building that has its own private washer & dryer.

Spectacular common area hot tub to ease those sore muscles after an epic day on the slopes or mountain biking. Plenty of parking either outdoors or assigned underground parking spot. Skis are conveniently kept in secure ski lockers just off the garage area.

Steamboat is family-friendly and the ski area is top notch with an average of 400 inches of snow a year.

Perfect space for the family either winter or summer.

*Depending on your dates I can save you over $50 per day, per adult off your lift tickets depending on your dates. Massive savings on lift tickets. Kids Ski Free. We love Ptarmigan House Condos because of it's proximity to the ski area and all of Steamboat's recreation activities. Once we park our car in the underground garage, we don't need to get back in the car for our whole stay as many restaurants are in walking distance and if you want to venture downtown, you can take the free shuttle which leaves right outside Ptarmigan House.

Location was fantastic. Unit was even better

OMG, this place was fantastic. Huge unit for a 1BR. 2 full bathrooms which we needed. Kids both had a big bed each. queen murphy & queen pull out that was really comfortable. I've never seen a mattress like that before. It was great. Condo was extremely clean & very well equipped. It had everything we needed. Skiing was good but the location was ever better. My wife loved the washer & dryer. When she is happy, the rest of us are happy. Apparently the other condos don't have private washers. Just this unit. Kim, the property mgr was extremely helpful and explained everything in detail. Her customer service is exceptional. She helped us save on lift tix which was a real bonus. The town is big & delightful. Lots to do. Loved the hot springs. If we ever come back to Steamboat we would stay here again

Great location, walking distance to ski slope. Although the unit was a little dated, it had everything required to make it a very comfortable stay. In fact we cooked and ate in every night. Only issue to be aware of is the unit is not managed by the staff in the complex so if you want and extra trash bag or towel, something breaks......you will need to contact the off site property manager.
