Quiet and bright one bedroom garden apartment with private, sunny courtyard.Adjoining owner's main house. Separate entrance to the property. Living room with comfortable sofa -TV/DVD player. Spacious, well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, microwave etc.-dining table. Bathroom with basin, bath/shower and WC. Bedroom with comfortable,queen size bed (160 cm ) . Tranquil, residential location -easy walk to golf course (at end of road), beach, excellent restaurants, centre of town. Free parking nearby. Enjoy all that St.Jean de Luz/Ciboure have to offer in this lovely apartment.

First time to this part of France - hidden gem! Wonderful coastline/beaches and amazing scenery. The apartment suited us perfectly - really comfortable bed in light and airy bedroom - pretty decor throughout and well equipped -peaceful location ( attractive residential area) but everything within walking distance as stated in advertisement. Fantastic choice of good restaurants - St.Jean de Luz is delightful -full of charm and history. Dragged ourselves away for a few trips - Biarritz/St.Sebastian (Spain) and the Pyrénées, so much to see in the area - we had such a great time and appreciated the welcome and assistance we received from the owner.

Wonderful peaceful location, close to beach and centre

Very enjoyable holiday at this comfortable, well equipped apartment - convenient shopping centre closeby (2 minutes walk) with SPAR supermarket, boulangerie, pharmacy etc - even a pizzeria! The courtyard was great for sunbathing and al fresco dining. The living area had a comfortable sofa where we relaxed at the end of the day.Well equipped kitchen. Bed was good quality and we slept so well in the well ventilated bedroom - plenty of storage areas for our belongings.

There are some pretty walks in the immediate area - our favourite was the walk around the beautiful bay of St.Jean de Luz/Ciboure, towards Socoa beach. Very good restaurant overlooking the beach. One day we even walked along the clifftops of the "Corniche Basque" (about 10 kilometres) to Hendaye, returning by bus. We loved walking to the local beach and swimming in the bay - sometimes staying in town to eat at one of the many restaurants. This was our first visit to the area but we'll certainly return again to stay at this apartment where we were made to feel so welcome by the owner, Elaine.

Try the seeafood

Jean de lux is an old costal town. Plenty of things to do. Good seafood but expensive.

The apartment is as good as you will get for the money. It has the bonus of a happy friendly owner.

A relaxing holiday. It can be difficult finding your way around the town.

Great little apartment

Elaine was a great host - very helpful but not intrusive. Apartment is well equipped and comfortable. 15 minutes walk to great choice of restaurants. Supermarket (with great take away meals - freshly cooked), boulangerie, pharmacie and bar just a few minutes walk away. Very good base to explore Biarritz, San Sebastien and great beach at Hendaye. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple. Colin & Yvonne.

Owner's Response: Many guests find the nearby SPAR supermarket very convenient and their freshly cooked dishes are very popular, as mentioned by Colin and Yvonne. Those guests arriving by car very often leave it untouched during most of the holiday and choose to get around on foot or by using public transport as it's an easy walk to the beach and town centre and there is a good local bus service. Biarritz airport is just 20 minutes away and can be accessed by bus or taxi service so numerous guests decide to leave their car at home.

Lovely apartment, great place!

We had a lovely time in this apartment, the bed was so comfy and the sea breeze kept the bedroom nice and cool and it was quiet enough with the window open. Great facilities, lovely helpful owner. It was a nice walk into the town/beach. Would stay here again.

The perfect place for enjoying St Jean de Luz.

The property contained everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay.Five minutes walk in the morning for Croissants and ten minutes into St Jean de Luz.
