Porth is a modern detached luxury property enjoying spectacular views of Mounts Bay and the colourful fishing port of Newlyn.

Porth is a split level property with the kitchen and living areas and a bedroom on the upper floor and two bedrooms and a cloakroom on the ground floor.The main living room benefits from a full 'room-length' window giving views of the entire Bay the picturesque Newlyn Harbour and also enjoys an access onto a patio sun terrace. The living room has a coal effect gas fire and central heating which is to every room. The very large kitchen dining room also enjoy sea views. In the garden there is garden furniture for eating outside and barbecuing. Next to the kitchen is a utility room with washing and dryer machines . There is off street parking for up to two cars.

The three bedrooms are arranged as a two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. For groups of seven an extra bed can be used in the twin room.

With its own garden and off street parking and set in a quiet neighbourhood of executive style homes and bordered by open countryside, Porth is ideal for exploring the Lands end peninsular with its many beaches, coastal walks, picturesque harbours , historical buildings and landmarks. Perched above Newlyn with views to the Lizard headland you will be entertained by the ever changing scenery from the lounge or balcony as tides, weather , sea conditions and boats of all shapes and sizes perform a daily theatre, never repeating the same script.

There is a beach , open public gardens and footpath between Newlyn and Penzance which then give way to Penzance promenade.

Local amenities on the public access sea front are tennis and basketball courts, well equipped children's playground , pitch and putt golf , a skate half pipe as well as the natural tidal rock pools. You can swim from the beach which is safe and clean but most people prefer the more sandy beaches such as Marazion, Porthcurno or Sennen. The nearest public transport are via several bus routes through Newlyn going to Penzance bus/rail terminus and to villages to the west, Mousehole , Lamorna, Porthcurno Sennen and Lands end.

Wonderful week in a great place

The house is in an excellent location, convenient for all the attractions of West Cornwall.

It is very comfortable and has lovely views. Barry made us welcome and manages things well.

The property was spotless and really well equipped. We plan to return, can't recommend it highly enough!

Fantastic stay to explore West Cornwall.

Dieses wunderbare "Ferienhaus", was eigentlich gar kein typisches Ferienhaus ist, hat die ideale Lage für die Erkundung des westlichen Cornwalls. Es liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Wohnbereich, hat einen traumhaft guten Blick auf den Atlantik, den Hafen von Newlyn und zum St. Michael Mount. Man kann die netten kleinen Restaurants in Newlyn zu Fuß erreichen oder nach Mousehole wandern.

Das Haus ist sehr gut und sehr gemütlich ausgestattet, so dass man nichts vermissen muss. Als wenn der Besitzer kurz vorher ausgezogen ist und alles gelassen hat wie selbst vorher benutzt. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in diesem Haus. Jederzeit wieder. Thank you Barry.

Lovely property with superb views

Location

The house is in a very good and safe nieghbourhhood and has no thru traffic ; birdsong is the chief cause of noise and the faint toot of a trawler horn as they signal one and all they are going to sea. The nieghbours are very freindly knowledgable of local imformation and have created wonderful gardens. Fortunately a previous owner of Porth has created a well stocked and planned garden also.
