Wind down the day with a BBQ on the (16'x30') covered sundeck and enjoy your favourite cocktail around the fire bowl table. End the day with a relaxing Jacuzzi hot tub then tuck yourself into one of the comfy beds for a peaceful nights sleep.

What a beautiful place and despite previous reviews you get the entire house to yourselves Pat & Richard were great to communicate with prior to our arrival and answered all our questions The outside kitchen & hot tub were covered so you can use it all year round. There is a fridge/freezer in the kitchen & in the outside kitchen so lots of space to keep your beer & wine chilled. The lighting outside was beautiful, just perfect for chilling after a long day! The kitchen is well equipped and they even provide hot tub towels. Pat & Richard live in the property behind so are easily contactable. They are there if you need them or have any questions. We really enjoyed chatting to them and getting to know them and what there was around Qualicum. The location is great, about 40 mins from the ferry terminal with the main town of Nanimo being 30 minutes away. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and would definitely stay again should we go back to Vancouver Island

Everything was perfect

Easy check in, exactly as described, really well stocked kitchen, quiet, great communication, and beach was super close. Loved our time here exploring the area. Would highly recommend.

About the host

We are seniors that retired here for the mild winters. We have two older horses that keep me busy everyday and my husband is a Realtor at Royal LePage Qualicum and Parksville.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because of the size of the yard and it's close proximity to the beach and woods for our dogs. We love being just a few minutes to everything we need. It's a touristy town in the summer, so it feels like we're always on vacation, especially driving alongside the beach everyday. The people are friendly and courteous and never seem to be in a hurry. The locals call this "Island Time".
