The Most Romantic Villa is located between Manuel Antonio and Quepos, Costa Rica. Both towns are located on the Central Pacific Coast, less than 100 miles from the capital of San José. Manuel Antonio is Costa Rica’s honeymoon capital and most exotic tropical destination. The Park includes four picture-perfect beaches, each with its own personality. Anyone with a snorkel and mask will be mesmerized by the aquatic life around the coral reefs and submerged volcanic rocks that line the coast between the Park and Quepos. Manuel Antonio National Park is home to an astonishing variety of tropical wildlife. Explore the Park on a well-established network of trails. The most interesting trail is the small loop that takes you around Punta Cathedral, with its breathtaking view of the Pacific. Be on the lookout for hundreds of species of animals and birds, including White-faced (caphuchin) monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, coatimundis, agoutis, two and three-toed sloths, toed anteaters, iguanas, marmomsets, ocelots, river otters, pacas and spectacled caimans, land crabs, parrots, brown pelicans, brown boobies, tyrant hawl-eagles, gray-headed chachalacas, soalter’s ant birds, toucans, and scarlet macaws.

Located on a tropical inlet just minutes from the Villa, Quepos is a small booming harbor town famous for being one of the best places in the world for big-game sport fishing. The newly developing Marina Pez Vela has amazing restaurants and specialty stores. Shop at the Farmer's Market every Friday evening or Saturday morning. With a variety of outdoor adventure and nightlife, the bustling village center composes six blocks of restaurants, bars, hotels, art galleries and gift shops, all resting beside the main beach and sport fishing fleet.
Less than two hours away, you will find Carara National park where you will experience biodiversity at its best! This 4700-hectare park is the northern-most tropical wet forest on the Pacific Coast. Hike with your naturalist guide through the reserve, and admire views of surrounding rice fields, palm plantations and cattle ranches. Crocodiles can often be spotted in the nearby Rio Tarcoles!

Perfect in every way!

We spent four nights here at the end of our honeymoon in Costa Rica and were blown away with this property. The location is simply breathtaking. The photos online, amazing though they are, just don't prepare you for the reality of that incredible view. The property itself is lovely, perfect for two people, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We were here just as the Corona virus outbreak began in Costa Rica so didn't really venture out very much, as such we were eating three meals a day at the house and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - better than my own kitchen at home! The real plus point of this place though is the outside space. Incredibly private, beautiful infinity pool, very comfortable furniture and an outside shower which probably has the best view of any shower in the world - we didn't use the shower in the bathroom once! Great wildlife watching right from the terrace - we saw scarlet macaws every day, hummingbirds, parrots, hawks and vultures which came incredibly close to the house, squirrels, lizards and of course the resident iguana who used to come down from the roof and sun himself by the pool. I can't recommend this property enough and would go back in a heartbeat. Easily the best place we have ever stayed in, my only regret is that we were only there for four days!

Honeymoon of a lifetime!

Booking with Sheri was easy and very re-assuring as we changed the booking from 10 to 14 days which wasn't an issue, we also received Champagne on arrival and complimentary massages as it was our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. You can also book massages from the villa if not on honeymoon and we would highly recommend. The villa was in excellent condition and had everything you will need for the perfect stay. The location in Quepos is perfect for breath-taking views of the ocean, downtown Quepos and lots of wildlife and birds (we saw Macaws, Iguanas, Vultures, Hummingbirds, Squirrels and even monkeys at the entrance and more, a bird watchers paradise as there are many more. It was also only a few minute drive to Quepos where there are an abundance of stores anything from your basic groceries (Pali) to your more up market (Mini Price Store) which stocked a larger range including lots of British / American brands. There are also some lovely souvenir stores along with a bakery (Musmanni) which we ended up visiting every other day for fresh bread and sweet treats! Thomas and Maria ensured we checked in smoothly and kept us informed of our excursions which were all fantastic, Thomas was also on hand to help with any issues and replied to messages almost immediately. There was also an extensive and helpful welcome pack along with a guide with all details you need for excursions such as what to bring with you which was a really nice detail as it appears a lot of other travellers came unprepared to excursions as they didn't have this information. The pool was beyond amazing and had the best views which the photos just do not do justice, perfect for a lazy day or cooling down after a day out exploring, you really could never get bored of that view. We could go on and on for a long time about everything this place and Quepos has to offer but there are far too many, a highly recommend stay and place to visit, thank you again Sheri and co for our dream honeymoon, we hope to be back some day. Book it ... we promise you won't be disappointed!

WOW..... is one simple word to sum up this stunning and very romantic villa. Every evening we'd sit and drink a G&T and watch the sunset. It was different every night, it's like a masterpiece happening right in front of you! We didn't want to come home!! The outlook is amazing and although there are other villas around you, you are not overlooked in anyway. Situated on the side of a hill, the elevated position means you sit on the balcony or swim in the amazing infinity pool while overlooking the marina and sea in the distance and the local town to your right. You really do feel on top of the world and the peace and tranquility is so calming. Because you are at the level of the tops of the trees in front of you there is a constant display of amazing birds of all colours and sizes not to mention the Iguana that would munch on the flowers! The pool is just incredible and the villa is so comfortable and equipped with everything you need for your stay. We only used the outdoor shower which is very cool!! Thomas who met us and showed us around on our first day was great and very knowledgeable about the area. He was also happy to tell you about the many trips and adventures nearby and arranged them for you if you wanted him to. We did do a few trips but to be honest the highlight of our holiday was being back at the villa sitting on the balcony with a drink just taking in the breathtaking views and feeling very lucky to be there. We were drawn to this villa as it was described as one of the best romantic villas and it certainly didn't disappoint, even at 60 years old!!! Just fabulous in every way, we hope very much to return soon.

Perfectly Beautiful

The photos on VRBO do not fully capture the beauty. The home is beautifully appointed and perfectly placed, with privacy yet not isolated, just up the hill from Quepos. Maria is the sweetest concierge, very attentive to all our questions, and very willing to organize the outings(tours) that we took. Although we enjoyed the various outings (take the sailboat tour on the all wood sailboat at sunset) its fantastic), we most enjoyed the early mornings (sunrise is at 5:30am sunset around 5:30pm) and sunsets on the terrace. We had macaws fly by every morning and other wonderful birds. Just stepping aside from a normally busy life, this home presented us with the perfect combination of quiet and reflection time we needed. We left very refreshed.
