About the Owner

We are an Irish family and we have been living here, in this most beautiful of villages, for eleven years now and never tire of strolling through the country lanes helping ourselves to the occasional fig or cherry that grow in abundance by the side of the vines and the olive trees.

We followed our dream and have raised our two daughters here in Cotignac and believe it is a little corner of paradise. We would love to share it with you.

We will be here to meet you on arrival and look after you during your stay .

Don't hesitate to call us for advice about the area or our house . We are waiting to hear from you. See you soon.

Fantastic villa for family holiday

  • 5 of 5

Our family (5 adults and a one year old) had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and quiet villa just outside Cotignac. The villa is very spacious with lots of room for us and our differing requirements. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor eating facilities excellent. The pool was very well used (especially as it was very hot during our stay) and the table tennis was much enjoyed. The separate TV room meant some could keep up with sport including the Tour de France. The travel cot was helpful for our little one. We enjoyed walks into Cotignac with good restaurants and shops as well as some trips further afield. Glen and Virginia were extremely helpful throughout.

My family and I had the most wonderful holiday in Virginia & Glen's Villa.

It was perfect for my husband and I and two daughters, their husbands and my four grandchildren.

The villa had all the facilities described, location stunning with amazing views and the pool was fantastic, the children were never out of the pool for the stay!!

We all love Cotignac for the ambience, culture and amazing restaurants!!

Glen & Virginia the owners provided excellent customer service.

We shall all definately return.

Outstanding house.

  • 5 of 5

A large group of family and friends enjoyed a glorious 2 week break in this gorgeous house. Virginia and Glen, our hosts, could not have been more helpful. The villa is very spacious and offers beautiful views from the large terrace. The swimming pool was enjoyed by all and the evening boules contests were fiercely contested. The open plan kitchen is very well equipped and airy. Cotignac which is a 10 -15 minute walk away, is a very picturesque village with many bars, restaurants and boulangeries. There are some excellent local walks and the bicycles provided were given a few outings. We enjoyed trips to St. Tropez and Cassis and many of the attractive surrounding villages. This truly is a beautiful part of Provence and one to which we hope to return in the near future.

Wonderfully relaxing retreat

  • 5 of 5

Our large extended family enjoyed a fabulous week in Cotignac in Glen and Virginia's magnificent house. All ages were very content here, Nanna loved the secluded outdoor day bed and the variety of comfortable sitting areas at different times of the day whilst the children loved the boule and badminton court, table tennis, swimming pool and reliable wifi connection! I never tired of the breathtaking views from the poolside and cloudless blue skies or the local produce. The large dining table was put to good use in the evenings hosting family games and we appreciated having English channels on the t.v. (although we didn't watch it much!). Cotignac is a very pretty village with a good selection of pavement cafes/restaurants where it is fascinating to sit and watch the world go by. We flew to Marseille and hired a car and the journey to the house took just over an hour. We also visited Toulon and had a wonderful lunch on the harbour side. Although we had planned to visit more places, everyone was so happy at the house that we ended up enjoying a very lazy and relaxing week. We would wholeheartedly recommend this house and Glen and Virginia were excellent hosts.

Absolutely gorgeous

  • 5 of 5

This house is actually even better than the pictures on-line. Beautiful setting, close enough to walk into town, where there are several excellent restaurants and three boulangerie.

The house is well equipped, very clean, spacious and to be thoroughly recommended.

The owners provided excellent service very unobtrusively.

A perfect house for a perfect village.

  • 5 of 5

Our family have just spent 2 wonderful weeks at Virginia and Glen's villa. We been coming to Cotignac on and off for the past 15 years and this has been our favorite holiday so far. As other people have said the pictures really don't do the house justice. It has everything you need both indoors and out to have a wonderful holiday. The living space was perfect for 10 people as it provides room for privacy and sanctuary as well as allowing a spacious communal environment. The villa is just the right distance and a beautiful walk from the village to work up an appetite for dinner and then walk it off afterwards. We definitely hope to come back again.

.COTIGNAC, is one of the most beautiful villages in France offering a typical summer scene with its summer festival, weekly market, cafe terraces under the shady plane trees and its 4 seasons drinking fountain. It is a romantic and lively village, a gourmets paradise where you can savour locally produced cheeses, wines , olives and red ripe tomatoes. Pick them up at the market for a fabulous picnic.

It has all the shops you will need and a plentiful supply of restaurants and bars. There is a bank with an ATM, and some really good gift shops. Visit the sublime city of Aix en Provence for the day and watch the world go by on it's shady avenues or take a picnic to the beach, all within easy reach.

There is rafting, pedalos, and kayaking in the Lac St Croix . There are plenty of places to ride everywhere and excellent tracks for hiking and mountain biking. Or you may choose to just do nothing and laze by the pool with a good book, relaxing and recharging your batteries. Thats Cotignac
