We, my wife and me, builded this house for our family. For this reason forniture, and decoration is reflecting our interest for a summer fresh ambient. However, with the time we finaly decided to contact hoilday rentals to rent it.

Why volanti barcares chose Pollensa - Alcudia

because we are very familiar with this area. In fact our summer house is on the other side of the backstreet (Xarxes ). We enjoy the summer here because the friendly local atmosphere far from the main hotels and close to the seaside which is clean and peaceful.

What makes this chalet unique

The front porch of this house receives the sun in the morning so is the best place to take breakfast taking sun looking the fishers going and returning in the small port. For midday and afternoon hours the garden and pool receives all the sun and results a intimacy area ideal to swim,to talk with friend or simply read some nice book meanwhile you contemplate the nice mediterranean garden plenty of life.

At night, the barbeque behind the pool terrace is the best complement to finish a holiday day with your friends.

Each bedroom is fully equipped with a wide wardrobe, large windows to the north (or west) with nice views over the Pollensa bay (or the garden). The one over the garden with a wide terrace faced to the west, and nice views to the Pollensa bay. There is also a wide living room with small terrace over the fishers port in the east side of this upper floor.

It was a lovely house in a fab location and had a great holiday. There were just a couple of issues... we thought for how much we paid we would of had towels changed or quick clean in middle of week and we did find only one bathroom on floor with 3 bedrooms which was shower bath and quite small. Might add it does have fab views

Stunning modern home in a peaceful neighbourhood

Spacious property, the views were beautiful from the terrace. Outside dining, inside dining - 5 tables to choose from!

Quiet and calm, seems to be a little busier with boats at the front at weekends but this added to the entertainment and people watching!

The air conditioning cooled the bedrooms and main area of the house but the system of natural ventilation was excellent.

At 5'1" I couldn't touch the bottom of the pool all the length of it, just at the top end. It was a perfect size and kids loved it. Outside furniture all very comfortable.

The showers were powerful and all bathrooms in fantastic condition. Kitchen facilities were also excellent.

Alcudia old town is a very short drive and you could walk. Many restaurants and shops within the pretty, narrow, walled streets. Port Pollenca beach is 15 min drive and has beautiful sand, restaurants galore and a Marina to explore. Location is easily reached from Palma, the road is excellent and it only took us 45 mins.

We were a family of 5 including a 22month toddler, I would say our only difficultly was that our toddler didn't want to play anywhere without everyone else so we were running about a fair bit too keep him away from the pool and the balcony edge! Another year and he'll listen a bit better....

The owners were wonderfully helpful and cannot thank them enough for sharing such a beautiful home with us for the week.

Wonderful property in a fabulous location. Well equipped and laid out.

We had a great stay and the house was perfect for us. The pool and garden had the sun all day and the range of different outside spaces meant that different people could always find their own quiet space if needed, either in shade or sun! The location had great views, with short walks leading to different beach and coastal path options. We loved swimming in peace and tranquility looking across the bay at Puerto Pollensa.

Old Alcudia town with great bars and restaurants was only a short walk (10 mins).

The owner - Hipolito - was very helpful when we arrived and explained the house to us. The location - overlooking a small marina - was extremely peaceful and we enjoyed this very much. This was a perfect place for a mixed family group, including a 9 month old baby. I'm sure we'll be returning.

A fabulous grand design house

The layout of the house has been wel thought out with plenty of space for 8 people sharing. The kitchen is well equipped and the general decor of the house is lovely. The pool and sun deck at the back of the house gets the sun all day.

Great location overlooking a small harbour with jetty. A short walk into the walled town of Alcudia and not too far from Puerto Pollensa

The owner Hipoplito was on hand the first day to tell us about the house and surrounding area which was very helpful.

I recently was for a holiday’s week in the Volanty House in Barcares (Alcudia, Mallorca).

Our stay (me and my family) during the first week of May was totally pleasant. A perfect location both for walking as for biking around the coast and mountains in the north of the Island. The wide garage was ideal both to park as to clean the bikes and we enjoyed of the pool in the afternoons. Owner explanations on hiking and bike made easy from the first trips to enjoy the surroundings with the whole family.

Tranquille et relaxante

Mon épouse et moi avons passé une semaine vraiment unique à Barcares. Hipolito est venu nous rencontrer dès le premier soir pour s'assurer que tout était à point. Nous avons pleinement profiter de la maison très acceuillante et éclairée de partout. L'aménagement extérieur est très bien pensé et la maison offre une très belle vue sur la petite marina communautaire juste en face. Il est intéressant d'observer les gens arriver avec leur embarcation et accéder à la mer en quelques minutes. L'endroit est idéal pour rejoindre les pistes cyclables. La maison offre calme et confort à proximité de la ville. Ce fût une très belle introduction à l'île de Mallorca, un endroit où il fait bon s'arrêter. Pour le vélo, la région est tout à fait paradisiaque, nous avons beaucoup aimé les cols et les petits chemins à travers la campagne.

The house is located on the sea front inside the Pollensa bay in Barcares. Inside this area you can find chalets, villas and vacation houses mainly properties of Majorcan people mostly located on the sea front.

The coast line shows small beaches and rocky places with very clean water always.There is a small beach at only 20m. of the house and a larger one at 300m. A nice local (fishers) harbor is just in front of the house.

In the near surroundings not any hotel or big buildings disturbing the marvelous sea view. However at only 200m you can find a small- local supermarket and two small bar/restaurants, and at longer distance (less than 3 Km) you can find every think you can also appreciate for holidays as shops, restaurants etc, as you can go to Alcudia town in less than 10 minutes walking (1,3 Km) and also in less than 5-10 minutes by car you can be at Puerto Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa, (5 and 10 Km).

Ideal for sea living, boat excursions, seaside walking, marvellous sunset views and photos, cycling, swimming, snorkel, windsurfing and to enjoy the glamour of a quiet relax in a local atmosphere. There is a nice guided (indicated) walking /cycling route along the sea coast.

This modern house with private pool brings you four independent terraces to enjoy the views on the Pollença bay, Formentor and Alcudia Mountains. The garden with swimming pool is south- South west oriented being sunny almost from mid morning to sunset.
