This new build first floor apartment is ideally located close to the centre of Lagos and the marina. Furnished to a high standard it is ideal for families, couples, friends and golf buddies. Located close to the marina (5 mins over the footbridge), the centre of town is a mere 5-10 minutes level walk away. Lagos town has a great choice of shops, bars and restaurants for all budgets, most of which are open all year round. It is 10 minutes walk to Batata Beach and a short drive away (or long walk) from Meia Praia. Praia de Luz, Sagres, Silves and other fabulous places all within a short drive or bus ride away. For golf lovers, Boavista and Palmeres courses are within a 15 mins drive and there are a couple of supermarkets within a 5 minute stroll. Please note that this is a strictly no smoking apartment.

Motor sport: 15 minutes away is the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is a 4.692 km (2.915 mi) race circuit located in Portimão, Portugal. With a total cost of €195 million (approximately $250 million), the project includes a carting track, technology park, five-star hotel, sports complex and apartments.[1]

Construction was finished in October 2008 and the circuit was homologated by both the FIM on 11 October 2008 and the FIA two days later.

The circuit hosts rounds of the World Superbike Championship, A1 GP, FIA GT Championship, Le Man series as well as being used by formula 1 teams for testing. In 2010, a round of the W.

Great apartment - Great holiday

The apartment was well furnished and decorated, with all the comforts of home. Located in a quiet area within easy walking distance of Lagos town centre and the beach. The apartment complex is gated with a private pool. The weather for late September, early October was glorious. We had 10 days of clear blue skies and hot sun. We would go back there without hesitation.

2nd Visit.

We stayed at this property last year, our second visit was just as enjoyable if not more the second time. Knowing the town and area better the second time round we really took the opportunity to explore. The apartment offers everything you would want if not more, from comfort, facilities, down to the excellent location to both the marina and town but also the beautiful beaches. The property enables you to benefit from eating in doors, al fresco on the balcony with a built in BBQ or exploring the local cuisine. Cannot wait to return again.

1st Visit to the Algarve.....

Both myself and my husband travelled to Lagos, had heard many positive reviews about the area and apartment that we though we would try it. We were not disappointed the place was central to everything from supermarkets, cafés to the beach and old town which had some amazing bars and restaurants. The complex itself was busy with many owners on holiday but also repeat guests who were friendly. I would visit again do much we will be returning the same dates this year. For done relaxation and sunshine. Booking and correspondence was quick and efficient. Would recommend to families, couples.

Would definitely recommend

The property was as advertised and described accurately; clean, well maintained and nicely furnished. The owners were extremely helpful, friendly, and prompt with dealing with our queries.

We have been to Lagos for ten years and can vouch that the location of this apartment is excellent. A short walk from both the marina and the historic town centre, and should you wish to use public transport the main bus station is around the corner (but not in view); also a reasonable walk to the railway station behind the marina.

Most importantly all these amenities are accessible on the flat which enabled us to take my partner's semi disabled mother. That said I do not generally recommend the Lagos area for those with severe walking difficulties.

A good sized immaculately maintained private pool area and children's play area. Lift access from the underground car park meant we didn't have to worry about the safety of the car and made it a lot easier for lugging up the shopping! All floors have lift access by the way - two lifts actually.

If you are self catering then there are two very good supermarkets ten minutes walk or so around the corner. As I I have said, its location is a real bonus.

As for Lagos itself, a bit googling will show all its benefits. You have to remember that whilst the Western Algarve has some of the most beautiful beaches, Lagos's main beach is fair walk (but well worth it). There is however a smaller beach around 15 minutes walk along the impressive Avenida.

All in all, we would have no hesitation in recommending this development and this particular apartment.

Oh and by the way, if have a car you really shouldn't miss a trip or so out up the West coast. Truly stunning.

The apartment is 20 minutes away from the brand new Portimao Autodromo motor racing circuit making it an ideal location for race fans. Events include Superbikes, GT racing, F1 testing & many more. Praia de Luz 10 minutes drive & some fantastic beaches for surfing & boogie boarding on the west coast including Armado about 30 minutes drive away.

Fancy venturing further afield? The central bus station is a 3 minute stroll. Here you can get non-stop express coaches to Lisbon & the rest of Portugal. Lagos train station is just an 8 minute walk away.

A trip to the hills takes you to Monchique where you can wander amongst the charming town houses, clustered on the hillside, discover the wealth of little churches & stop for a refreshing break at the nearby Monchique spa.

For the young at heart, try Slide & Splash, considered one of Europe's best water parks, it is located a few minutes away from Lagoa, Praia do Carvoeiro, Portimão & Praia da Rocha & has fun & games for all the family

Golf: There are two courses within a 15 minute drive.

Boavista offers two distinct sections of play providing a variety of attractive and interesting holes. From the first to the last putt on the 18th green it promises a sensible game for the average player. Umbrella pines, blossoming almond, fig, palm and olive trees line the rolling fairways, weaving their way between water hazards and carefully placed bunkers. Breathtaking views, spectacular scenery and the clear Atlantic Ocean, which is visible from most holes, all combine to make this course a delight for the golfer.

Palmares is laid out on the side of a south-facing hill overlooking the Bay of Lagos. It is questionably the most attractive location of all the golf courses in the Algarve. The views as you play your round are quite breathtaking. Five of the holes are placed on the sand dunes with the fifth, a par-5 of 550 metres making a real challenge. At present there are no villas clustering the fairways.

  • Outside is the covered patio area, which is a good size and is furnished with a table, reclining chairs and built-in barbecue. This catches the sun from mid to late afternoon and is ideal for a pre dinner snifter or unwinding with an after dinner glass of wine. Although communal sunbeds are provided around the pool, we have two fold-up loungers and 2 folding recliner chairs for our guests There is a well equipped children's play area and usually a good selection of inflatable’s for use by children (large & small) in the pool. The property also benefits from electric shutters on the windows, a videophone entry system and secure underground parking. Please note that the air conditioning can also blow warm air to take the chill off cooler winter evenings. Although not specifically adapted for wheelchair users, access is helped by lifts and ramps from the garage and the pool area.
