Beautiful bastide with private garden in a very quite family owned hamlet

Situated at 10 miles from the beaches and surrounded by vineyards and pine forests, this beautiful hamlet, Château and winery, offers rest and calm. Many activities available around.

You will enjoy the beautifull gardens and its green house (1901), the heated pool (open April till october) and pool house, the spa including jacuzzi, dry sauna, wet sauna and resting lounge.

You will also be abble to visit the winery and taste the wines with our 'Maitre de Chais'.

A unique experience of luxury in Languedoc, in a family owned hamlet since 1872.

Services: Full linen is provided. Specific towels for the bathrooms, Spa and Pool.

Fully equiped kitchen. Free access to the spa and heated pool.

A truly fabulous and outstanding property. The high standard of the property was 5 star quality and looked brand new. The facilities were perfect, with a beautiful, sparkling pool, lovely spa and table tennis. The setting was very picturesque, in the beautiful countryside, but within easy reach of towns and villages. The owners and management were 1st class and attended to our every need; nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning...can't wait!

Wonderful Relaxing Holiday

La Venede is a very special place. The accommodation is of a very high standard, where all the details have been thought through really carefully. The rooms are spacious and clean and each has its own bathroom or shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you need for a week or two. There is internet access and satellite TV although we never actually put it on. The grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is especially lovely as it is surrounded by trees and is a good size for swimming. There are sun loungers and a shady areas under the umbrellas or veranda, and there is even a pool kitchen where you can put your drinks to help them stay cold. The view from our terrace was a wide open space where we saw Hoopoe birds playing in the garden, and black storks flying overhead, which for a bird watcher is a treat. It is a very peaceful and quiet place right in the middle of the countryside. The host, and his staff, were very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. You can take a tour of the wine making process and taste some of their produce. We managed to bring a few bottles back with us which is a nice reminder of a wonderful holiday. Given the chance I would definitely go again if I wanted a relaxing holiday away from it all.

Très belles prestations et accueil

Très calme, beaux volumes et équipements de très belle qualité dans le gîte. La piscine et le parc étaient particulièrement appréciables. Propriétaire très accueillant et réactif, sans être trop présent non plus. En bref, un excellent séjour!
