'3 bedrooms,2 bathrooms,dining/living room with kitchen and Lake Como Views'
The apartment is in Lezzeno, a small village on the shores of Lake Como (6 km from Bellagio). It is a perfect place to spend an enjoyable holiday with spectacular scenery encompassing the blues of the lake and the greens of the moutain forests. It is ideal for lovers of water sports (the apartment is 500 m. from an international centre for water skiing and wakeboarding) and also for those who like to go fishing. The apartment is in a very peaceful location on the lakeside and has every convenience (washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, gas hob with 4 rings, electric oven, microwave, iron and ironing board, clothes drying rack, hair dryer, TV, WiFi). It was renovated and tastefully furnished. The apartment is on the second and last floor of my house where I live on the ground floor and my father and uncle on the first. It's 110 square meters. It has a big dining/living room with an American kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a bathroom with a bath, a double bedroom with a bed of 160x200 cm. and other 2 bedrooms, each with two single beds. The apartment has a garden with a table, chairs under the pergola of kiwi and the private parking is 20 m. away. It is 50 m. from a stony beach and the bus stop, 20 m. from the local grocery store and bar, about 350 m. from the nearest restaurants ( restaurants Aurora, Abbate,Locanda La Fornace). The Post Office, Bank, Church and Parmacy are about 1 km. away, as is the pier from which boats depart for both sides of the lake.

My name is Gina Bruna. I was born and I live in Lezzeno. Also I work in the Post Office in Lezzeno. I'm of avarage height and I'm slim. I have a curly hair.
I'm not married and I dedicate my free time to my apartments.
I like to go on holiday abroad especially where there is the sun and the light green sea. I love to know people from other country.
Gina Bruna Vaccani purchased this apartment in 2009
Why Gina Bruna Vaccani chose Lezzeno
My property was passed down through the generations. It's a characteristic house of the Como Lake. My grandparents had a local restaurant in this house and so downstairs there is a large cellar where the grandparents produced wine for their customers. My father was fisherman and he catched fishes for his parents. My father and uncle were also carpenters and they made windows and doors in this village and so in Lezzeno everybody know them.

Both Lake Como and Gina's property have been great experiences to close a trip around Italy. The flat is perfectly located at an area with the best views in the lake. The flat is better than in the photos. It has a nice garden, is full-equiped for six and spotless. But even more valuable are Gina's' and her family friendness and kindness. They have made us feel as their personal guests. We would love coming back soon and would recomend it without any doubt.
The apartment was very clean and in a perfect location with stunning views of the lake from the balconies. I would highly recommend the property and Gina is very helpful and supportive. We used public transport and the boats which was easy to do from the apartment you do not need a car. There is a local shop just around the corner from the apartment which can cater for most needs.
Wonderful host, clean and spacious apartment
Perhaps this rental's greatest asset is Bruna (aka Gina), the owner, who treats her renters like family. She went to great lengths to help us find dinner after our late arrival and to show us around town, even driving us to the grocery store on Sunday morning. The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, and well-located within Lezzeno. It is two doors away from a little shop with food and toiletries (but keep in mind that the store is closed on Sundays), and it is a short and easy walk from the beach, where the water's temperature was surprisingly comfortable for an Alpine lake. It is also close to several restaurants, though getting to some of them requires walking along the main road. We especially enjoyed the restaurant at the Aurora Hotel, where both the view and the food were fabulous; the restaurant's bar also has a takeout service with excellent--and modestly priced--pizza and sandwiches. Lezzeno itself is quieter than the larger towns, such as Bellagio, along Lake Como, which we preferred, but if you are looking to be in a place with lots of shops and an active nightlife, then Lezzeno would not be the best choice for you. Once in Lezzeno, we kept our car parked in Bruna's private spot and relied exclusively on the buses and boats for transportation, because (for an American, at least) the roads seemed pretty treacherous--they are narrow and windy, and pedestrians walk right on the busy road and are not always easy to see when driving around bends. (Locals will tell you that you can walk to Bellagio along the wooded path that runs between it and Lezzeno, but the path drops you off far from the center of Bellagio and requires a long walk along the busy roads. We walked for nearly two hours from the apartment and never even made it to the main part of Bellagio. The path itself affords some great views of the lake, though.) Bruna provides up-to-date bus and boat schedules, and she has a large stash of touristic information to help you plan your daily excursions. We especially enjoyed our trip to Varena, though all of the towns and villas along the lake are very picturesque. One last practical note: Our car's GPS could not find the apartment, so be sure to download directions on Google maps! Especially if you want to be away from the hubbub of Como or Bellagio, we very highly recommend this rental and, especially, its extremely friendly and helpful owner. Grazie, Bruna, for a great week!
Great place, great people, great holiday!!
I stayed in this apartment with my partner, two 19 year old girls and two 21 year old young adults. It was fantastic. Room for everyone. The apartment was clean, well equipped, spacious and had beautiful views from the terraces. A nearby hotel, the Aurora had boats for hire and Wakeboarding. For a fee of 10 euros for a full day or 5 euros from 2:30pm you can use the hotels sun loungers on a decked area, canoes, kayaks and a trampoline in the water. the hotel has a lovely dining area which overlooks the lake. Another place to try is the wine store/bistro on the left hand side as you walk down to the Aurora. They open about 6-6.30pm. There is a small pebble beach only a two minute walk from the doorstep of the apartment and a small local shop and bar. The bus service is again very close and a short walk into the centre of Lezzeno brings you to a boat terminal. Gina, her father and uncle are all really friendly. Gina speaks great English and is full of information for you. Nothing is too much trouble for her. You can also use the garden to sit, sunbathe or dine. Lovely, lovely apartment, great people, in a most beautiful part of the world.
Five star great value for the money
The apartment is clean well maintained, well appointed with appliances including a stick blender and supplies plenty of towels, dishes pans ect. The owner is gracious full of information and went beyond expectations in finding a shoe repair person and watch battery for us.
I rented three of the owner's apartments and all were just as wonderful. There was an overstuffed note book of things to do in the area, maps restaurants and boat and bus schedules. We did not have a car which worked okay but you need to check the time of the last boat or bus. On a few occasions the bus never showed up. In Lezzeno you can walk to the store, bank, ferry, bus, post office, restaurants ,rent a speed boat,we even found the indoor bocci court.
To get to the apartment from the Milan airport we hired a driver from Taxido.net which worked very well for us.
You are a wonderful host Gina thank you

Activity and Interests
The apartment is located in Lezzeno on the second floor in front of the Lake Como, a cute little village with little paths and surrounded by ancient small yet charming houses. It is only 6 km from Bellagio, the most famous tourist village in the centre of Lake Como. Bellagio is well know in the world for its beautiful location, situated between the green of the mountains and the blue of the lake and surrounded by spacious blossoming gardens. It is also possible to catch a ferryboat which can take you on trips throughout the lake. The apartment is just a short walk across the road from the stony lakeside shore and a few steps there is a small food shop and a pub. The village offers all the services including bank, post office, pharmacy, church, restaurants and shops. The pier, far away 1 km, where it's possible to catch a boat to visit the whole lake. This local area is the ideal place for people who like enjoying the lake and for people who want to relax within the quiet of the mountains sorrounding the scenic beauties of Como Lake.
The real treasure of Lake Como lies in its quaint villages that dot the mountains surrounding the lake. A stroll trough some of the ancient villages on Lake Como includes medieval and renaissance churches, winding alleys and striking views of the lake. The cultural is coupled with natural beauty: fresh mountain air, penetrating blue waters, miles of rolling hills and mountains to be explored or simply to admire. In the centre of Como Lake there are famous villas and their gardens. In Bellagio don't miss a visit to Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni gardens (now Rockfeller foundation). Then you can take the slow boat and enjoy with a nice cruise on the lake. Nearby you can visit Villa Balbianello in Lenno where Star Wars was filmed. In Varenna you can visit Villa Monastero, Villa Cipressi and Vezio Casle with amazing views on the Central lake. In Tremezzo a visit to Villa Carlotta. Also you can cross the Swiss border by car to visit the city of Lugano. There is much to do and see.
