About the Owner

The Radford family have connections with Swanage going back to 1962. My parents lived there for 20 years and we have holidayed in Swanage every year since we had children in 1993.

We like walking, the picture shows us enjoying a beach barbeque at Chapman's pool

We are now involved with the Swanage and Purbeck Hospitality Association and and keen to see Swanage continue to improve as a holiday destination.

We like the combination of being close to the beach and the town and still being quiet. We love the views from all the rooms and the balcony. The house is really modern bright and spacious and has a happy contented atmosphere.

Swanage is situated on a beautiful sheltered bay with a sandy beach and views to the Isle of Wight. It is surrounded by Dorset countryside, the Purbeck hills and the Jurassic coast. Swanage vies with the Isle of Wight for the sunniest spot in the UK due to its peninsular position on the South Coast.

The Swanage steam railway to Corfe Castle, visits to Monkey World at Wool and Brownsea Island are very popular with our guests.

We like the stunning coastal scenery, the sandy family beaches and especially the remote and wild beaches at Chapmans Pool, Worbarrow Bay and Durdle Door. Studland Bay with views of Old Harry Rocks provide the most magnificent sandy beach on the South Coast. with scenery views, space and sand dunes.
