Galini Breeze is a luxurious, small-scale 'OnlyAdults' holiday resort, situated on a gently sloping hill.

Alls units offer stunning sea and mountain views. Agia Galini village and beach are within 5 - 10 min walking distance.
The entire complex is very spacious, so privacy and rest are guaranteed both around the studios and around the swimming pool.
We adopted the Only Adults (21+) formula, hence our accommodation is perfectly suited for couples to recover from everyday stress.

Reliable broad-band internet (2.4/5gHz WiFi and a wired sockets in the rooms) is availably throughout the premises.

Crete is one of the biggest Greek islands in the Mediterranean see, and the one most south, hence with the best climate. It has a rich history from Minoan civilization, of which many remains are to be found in the neighborhood of the resort.

Wonderful accommodation and hosts.

Galini Breeze is everything it says it is and deserves the five star rating. Simple things done well with no fuss, but plenty of attention to detail!

Einfach nur super toll

Ich war mit einer Freundin vor Ort und es war von der ersten Minute an ein ganz toller Aufenthalt. Serhat, unser Ansprechpartner vor Ort, hat uns mega freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt, was man wissen muss. Er war immer für uns da, ob es die Sauberkeit in der Anlage war, Tipps für Ausflüge oder einfach nur liebe Gespräche :) Wir würden hier jedesmal wieder hinfahren, toller Ausblick aus Appartment "Forest" welches wir bewohnen durften. Auch der Weg runter ins Städtchen war kurz und alles schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Weg zurück war zwar etwas steil ;) aber das ist keine Kritik !

After years of dreaming, we decided to develop our small scale resort 'Galini Breeze' a long time ago.

We are the owners, Marc and Monique Hinfelaar (both born in 1962, The Netherlands). In summer we live and work here in Agia Galini; in winter time we live in Amsterdam. Our 2 grownup kids both are studying and working in The Netherlands.

Greece has always been our favorite holiday destination, and in April 2014 the quest for a suitable plot of land finally ended on this hill near Agia Galini.

This location offered the ideal combination of quietness, loveliness and liveliness we were looking for to create our concept ‘Galini Breeze’.

Marc focuses primarily on business planning and marketing, while Monique took up styling and furnishing. As a team we run Galini Breeze on a daily basis now, combined with freelance work (in healthcare-communications and management). Finally, in summertime we coordinate rental our apartment in Amsterdam central too.

We enjoy music, cultural festivals and concerts very much, and we love good food and wine. Of course we won’t forget to take a sound portion of physical challenges like running and mountain biking. Or just to stroll on the beach or along the Amsterdam canals – we love it!

Why they chose this property

This spot, just above Agia Galini is the ultimate location we found after 3 years of research on Crete. With a team of architects of Action Construction (Rethymno), we developed and build the project in 2016 - 2017. First opening was April 2017.

The ‘Only Adults’ 21+ formula guarantees a quiet stay, while the attractive surroundings, the heated swimming pool and its cosy pool-bar invites you to be active some hours too.

Each of the four detached studios (for 2 persons) offer maximum privacy. You will enjoy your shady terrace adjacent to the living/sleeping room and roof terrace above!
