The apartment has been newly renovated to a very high standard. Located near the town hall, in the exclusive Old Town area. The beach, Cathedral, designer shops, restaurants, tapas bars, cafes, museums and art galleries are on the door step.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, heating, WIFI internet, Satellite TV, DVD, flat screen, I-pod speaker, washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, hairdryer. The communal terrace has breathtaking sea and mountain views and the Cathedral sits next to the apartment nestled amongst the roofs.

Mallorcan cuisine is genuinely Mediterranean and is enjoyed in homes throughout the island or in cellars - the name given to traditional Mallorcan restaurants, which are often housed in the cellars which were used for wine production in the past. There are many cellars in the island´s villages and in Palma de Mallorca, though the most well-known are those in Sineu, Inca and Petra, all at easy reach by train from the center of palma.

Nice Place - Good Location - Shame about Julian

Julian is not the quickest at responding to emails or requests for information. Upon our arrival we did as requested and called him at the airport, he said he would be 15 minutes and would meet us at the apartment. An hour and 3 telephone calls later (with no answer) some woman arrived and said that Julian was just parking the car. He never arrived - the lady showed us round a quick 10 minute whip round. The apartment was nice but not a lot of natural light. There is also a picture of a terrace, but no mention of this from the lady - no wonder it was 3 levels above via narrow stairs. There was an old small garden side table and 2 chairs in poor condition. Nothing else provided, it was quite hot when we stayed, there was no parasol so no shade - couldn't sit up there for to long - A shame because the views and terrace were very nice. The owner could provide a decent table and chairs - loungers and parasol. That would have been perfect.

Fantastic apartment, perfect location, great value

I rarely write reviews but I had a perfect stay here. This is a fantastic little apartment situated in a beautiful relaxed location in the heart of the old town. This was my first time in Palma and what a wonderful introduction to the city. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

The owner Julian was always quick to respond and was extremely accommodating - especially after a slight mix up at our end. Picking up the keys was straightforward and we were greeted with a very warm professional welcome.

The apartment is situated on a lovely little quiet road, close to the cathedral and in walking distance from the port, the beach and the heart of the city. The small local at the bottom of the road is absoloutely superb, wonderful staff, full of character and offers 60 different wines by the glass.

The apartment itself was spotless and has everything you need for a weekend break. It is located at the top of a traditionally tiled staircase, tastefully decorated and has exposed wooden beams on the main ceiling giving it that extra bit of charm. It also comes with access to a roof terrace with beautiful views of the city.

Big thanks to Julian and Mara - this would be my first choice if visiting Palma again.

Beautiful apartment in perfect location!

My cousin and I stayed for 4 nights at the start of April. The apartment was bright, very clean and really nicely decorated. It's situated in a really lovely part of town with its gorgeous winding, cobbled streets; a perfect base from which to explore gorgeous Palma. The wine bar on the corner is really nice for a wee drink and there are restaurants and shops near by. Would definitely recommend!

High quality apartment in a fantastic loaction

Stayed here for two nights in April. Charming part of the old town - arguably the best part of town to stay in - directly behind the cathedral and near the Banys Arab (follow signposts to them if you get lost!), the apartment is nestled away in cobbled streets; genuinely quaint and surrounded by a melee of art galleries, restaurants and shops. You can be by the sea within a 4 minute walk or head north and find all of the best parts of the old town within 5 minutes too.

Behind the brilliant, rustic wooden front door (must be over 100 years old at least!) you'll find a super clean; beautifully furnished and for us most importantly; cracking wi-fi that was critical for us. Very comfortable, proper double bed which was nice too. All linens were provided, all of which were very high quality too.

The lounge is very comfortable; lovely couch to crash into after a big meal in one of the local tapas places!

Great value apartment for the high quality you will receive.

We found Pesquero a great spot for breakfast by the way - located overlooking the marina with free wifi and great cafe con leches!

For a business or leisure break, a lovely alternative to a hotel.

Excellent apartment

This elegantly designed and equipped apartment is in the very heart of Palma Old Town. The apartment is up a single flight of stairs from the street level the stairwell is lined with beautiful original tiles. The apartment entrance leads to an open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen area has a shuttered french window with small balcony overlooking Carrer St Clara. All the fittings in the apartment are modern and easy to use. We were particularly glad to find a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer (the latter two in a small utility room off the kitchen area, separately ventilated). The lounge area had a comfortable sofa and armchair and satellite equipped flat screen TV. The lounge area gave access through a door to the double bedroom with a comfortable double bed and extensive wardrobes. Both the lounge area and bedroom had highly efficient individual A/C units. A sliding frosted glass door from the bedroom gives access to an attractive and well designed shower room. It has a large stone clad walk-in shower with a rainfall head, really quite luxurious. Both shower room and bedroom have screened and frosted windows onto the light well.

The apartment is situated in the heart of the old Jewish quarter of Palma de Mallorca, the local bread and grocery shops are each just 50 yards away and two excellent and friendly wine bars, La Vinya and Abracadabra are just a step or two further. Mercat d'Olivar is just 10 mins away with the freshest fish, fruit, vegetables and meat possible, no need to go any further!

The proprietor, Julian, was exceptionally helpful with perfect English and can arrange excellent wine tours giving a real insight into the Island's wine industry.

All in all an excellent stay in a beautiful apartment

  • The apartment is located on the 1st floor of a stunning 19th century building, which has also been recently refurbished. There are only 3 other flats in the building which makes this location extremely quiet and no traffic in the immediate area. The apartment is centrally located behind the Town Hall and within the City walls. This small quiet street runs perpendicular to the Parque del Mar where the Cathedral, La Lonja and the Marina are located. The beautiful working Convent of Santa Clara is located a few houses away and the Arabian Baths a 2 minute walk away. The exclusive shops and boutiques on Jaume III, Sant Miguel, Colon or Jaume II are all nearby. Typical food market for fresh fruit, vegetables and fish...is only 2 blocks away. Private boat trips to virgin beaches and the island of Cabrera can be organized exclusively for our guests at extra cost (please ask for details).
