Charming two storey house apartment in a restored seventeenth century house.

This retreat was recently officialy licensed as a **** holiday house by the flemish tourist board.

High degree of home feeling assured through the use of quality construction materials and selective furniture pieces in a picturesque setting.

All house comfort with laundry cleaning facilities in the basement and well equipped open kitchen. Refreshing corner with shower cabin on the first floor and nice bathroom with bath on the upper floor. Nice small roof terrace.

Provision of services such as taxi-shuttle services, catering, guiding, a.o.

The house is located at two steps of the canals and a three minute walk from the market square. This dwelling ensures an unforgettable short stay or holiday period.

Cozy character

We just spent three nights at Casa Michelango and thoroughly enjoyed it. The building is very old and has the original beams inside, but other than that everything is quite modern inside. All appliances worked great, no plumbing or electrical issues either. It was cozy and charming. Alex took time to recommend restaurants and other things. He also presented us with a basket of chocolates, biscuits and beer. This was a welcome treat. As with many older European houses, the layout was a bit different and included steep stairs. We had no problem with them, but definitely would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. It is well located within walking distance to all Bruges has to offer. Although we did it, I do not recommend walking from the train station. Although not far, the streets are crowded and cobblestone, making it very difficult with luggage. Overall it was a lovey place with a bit of history to spend a few days in Bruges.

beautiful, comfortable, and great location

We absolutely loved our stay in Bruge, and especially loved staying in our old but updated very nicely Flemish style home. Our family of 4 slept very comfortably, and each child got to have their own sleeping space, which was wonderful. The home is 3 levels on top of a shop below. Lots of space and all the comforts you need of home. There was also a garage available to park our rental car for a small fee, which was really helpful. The owner Alex took extra care with us at check in, providing many tips for the area and restaurants. Such a treat to be welcomed with cookies, chocolate and beer too! We would come back to this place all the time if we could, really a fantastic stay and town to visit!

elegance and charm

The photos do not fully capture the elegance of this place, whose owner has an eye for tasteful decorating. The owner was the most welcoming and hospitable I have encountered in more than ten years of renting places through VRBO. Bruges is beautiful. Our teenage daughter loved the loft space!

Beautiful and quaint apartment!

We loved this apartment ! Perfect location, spacius apartment well decorated. It was great to be able to borrow bikes to use around town.

We woould definitely stay here again if we ever visited Brugge again. Totally recommanded.

  • This holiday house is ideal for two to four people,but can provide accommodation to six people,keeping in mind that this is at the cost of the overall comfort. There is a nice master bedroom under the oak saddle roof with a large double bed. The second smaller bedroom is foreseen from a dressing and has a second storey in the form of a mezzanine with a large bed for 2 persons. This sleeping area is located close under the saddle roof and is somewhat more convenient for younger couples or youngsters. There is also a quality bedsofa in the living room. Complementary to this we still have two single foldable hotelbeds .
