Lovely comfortable, warm cottage located in beautiful scenery. Quiet farmland location and with great walks, good pubs nearby and the lakes within 40 mins drive, plus good shopping in Penrith for supplies when needed.
Lovely cottage, excellent facilicillities, very friendly hosts
The property was lovely, clean, warm and well equiped owners very helpful without being intrusive.
We had an amazing time at this property and would highly recommend. The cottage is very cosy, comfortable and very well furnished. Location is great, only a short drive to the Pennines or the Lake District. Thank you Rob and Kerry for a lovely stay!
I can't recommend this cottage enough. Kerry and Rob were lovely and very helpful. I stayed there with my family when attending a local event. The cottage is very well appointed and clean. It has been restored to a very high and modern standard. The kitchen has a good range of utensils. We all found the beds comfy and the showers excellent! We had a very restful time and enjoyed exploring the local area! We would all stay again! A lovely home away from home for the start of our holiday.
Blencarn is a traditional Cumbrian village in the Eden Valley with a picturesque village green, nestling at the foot of the Pennines. With easy access to the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales – this makes it an ideal destination for active visitors as well as those whose aim is sheer relaxation.
