About this property

The house is located in the quiet, secluded and unspoiled bay Veprinova on the South side of the island of Hvar near the town of Gdinj. Island Hvar is connected to the land by a several ferry lines a day. Enjoy the beauty of the Adriatic while relaxing on the nearby beach or on your balcony. There is a beautiful pebble beach with crystal clear water only 100 m from your doorstep. The town of Hvar is only about an hour drive, while Jelsa and Starigrad can be reached within half an hour or 40 min. At the distance of 1,5km there is a shop with basic groceries and one restaurant that is open from (15th June till 15th September).Ideal for Robinson holidays.

This part of the island doesn't have electricity so the electricity in the house is 12 V solar powered. Running cold water is installed in the kitchen while bathroom has both cold and hot water installed. The water should be spent here sparingly. Dishes, bed linen and towels are prepared for you. The kitchen has a refrigerator and a gas cooker.

Quiet retreat

The property is in a lovely quiet corner of Hvar, but it has a great restaurant in walking distance and the sea right on the doorstep. We had a great time swimming and relaxing and we were located such that we could do day trips all over the island, incl Hvar town. Visitors must keep in mind the property is remote and off grid and the amenities are designed accordingly.

Really nice location and quiet location. Extremely good to relax

We ( family with two kids) had a really nice and relaxing holiday. The house is really nice, nicely furnished, very well equipped and everything was clean. The communication with our landlord was immediate although wE didn't meet them personally. The hot shower didn't really work, but since the weather was fine, this wasn't a problem.

The best thing about the location is that it offers complete rest from urban and speedy way of life. The house is situated in pine wood just a few stairs from the sea .There is a beautiful pebble beach with crystal clear water only 100 m from your doorstep.
This part of the island doesn't have electricity so the electricity in the house is 12 V solar powered. Running cold water is installed in the kitchen while bathroom has both cold and hot water installed. When you are in the mood to get back to civilisation the town of Hvar is only about an hour drive, while Jelsa and Starigrad can be reached within half an hour or 40 min. At the distance of 1,5km there is a shop with basic groceries ( I reccommend doing the big grocery shopping prior to arriving to the island as prices are higher then at land) and a fish restaurant with local cuisine is just 200m distant.
