Perfect location to the beach and Flagler Avenue. Great restaurants and shopping. Breakers is our favorite.

It's NSB at its best

What a lovely weekend. Jules is an outstanding property manager, very attentive and friendly. The unit was as charming as pictured, very clean, and had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Having grown up in New Smyrna Beach, this little 2nd floor "cottage" style unit is the purest taste of beach life you can get in a vacation rental. It really embodies what NSB is. Sunrise walks on the beach, coffee on the front deck, listening to the waves, the serenity is just unbeatable. My family will be back!

Perfect Location!

Perfect location! Just steps away from the beach and the view from the deck is great. The house has a nice beach cottage feel. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We would rent again!

disapointing

Starting with the positives, the location is great, just a block in from the beach. The contact person was very nice and helpful. The furniture was great, comfortable and the beds were wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed and the unit had a washer and dryer. The negatives: its an upstairs unit. There were two sets of stairs and they were a bit rickety. We were traveling with my husband's mother who is 75 and that wasn't the best. Would be tough for little ones as well. Overall the property was not clean, and the kitchen and bath were very old. There was a spill down the front of the dishwasher, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the windows were so bad you could barely see out of them. The shower was so small especially when you tried not to let the moldy shower curtain touch you. We found a kids pink sippy cup with curdled milk or juice in the bathroom cabinet. Every glass we pulled from the cabinet was dirty. The oven we used once was also dirty. There was no hair dryer in the unit. Also no beach chairs. Considering this is a "beach house" and the sand at smyrna beach is so hard cars drive on it, it is really is a necessity. We had to go buy ours and leave them there. There were no blankets on the beds or in the closets. I choose to never use the bedspreads at rentals or hotels. They do not get washed every time and I was very uncomfortable using them for warmth but had no choice. We were only given 5 washcloths for 3 people for 5 days. Re-using a used washcloth is not good. This property has great potential but falls way short.
