Why Opal Gibson chose Nassau

This property appeals to me because of its spacious and luxurious nature. It is in a gated community that is close to the beach, in walking distance.

It has three spacious bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. The master has a huge walk-in closet and features a bathroom with a jacuzzi and separate glass enclosed shower.

The house also features a fully equipped kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee-maker. It also features an attached garage.

And you can walk across the street and hope on the jitney. The Bahamas equivalent of the local bus that will take you everywhere for $1.25.

What makes this townhome unique

The unique benefits are the attached garage and the close proximity - walking distance to the beach, the oversized rooms and beautifully manicured lawns and that it is ideally suited for families.

Spacious house in pleasant gated community

The house is roomy - especially upstairs and is across a quiet road to a very nice pool with loungers and chairs and near a playground. The community is safe and well maintained. The owner and the person who met us to give access were super helpful.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the outside deck has no view and needed repairs when we were there and the kitchen was lacking some equipment. Otherwise it's a great house.

If you stay here, I'd recommend hiring a car to really enjoy the island.
