We're close to everything you'll need .City shops, bars, restaurants, cafe's and nightlife. The feeling of luxury in a secure retreat. We have thermal pools, theatres, beachsports, golf and boat trips - all within a few minutes drive, everything for you to enjoy. And of course your obliging hosts.

About Rod & Lorna Stuart

Hi there, we're travelers. Rod has traveled most of his life, which originated in Scotland, but Lorna was born just over the hill in Te Aroha. We've traveled together through many countries, working as Luxury charter boat skipper and hostess, moteliers and in many businesses in many countries, so we know what makes travelling people happy. Our self-contained apartment has beautiful new furnishings and bedding,

Queen double beds in both rooms (see photos of wall bed in lounge ) with Egyptian cotton sheets and lovely linen. The new kitchenette has DeLongi

appliances and a coffee machine. Patio has a great barbeque for sizzling

your steaks and fresh caught fish if you're lucky.

Just down our driveway is the waterside walk/jogging and cycle track which takes you all the way to the CBD. A lovely walk with views to the Mount and the visiting cruise ships.

If you feel like just relaxing there is a large flat screen TV with access to all freeview programs plus Sky channels including Sky Sport (for the Rugby) .

WiFi also available for your Internet connection. Just ask for the password.

What makes this apartment unique

A lovely place to stay for business or pleasure purposes and central to all amenities. All the facilities of a small city and a beach resort area.

A good place to base for touring Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

Hobbit Town = 45min. drive - Rotorua Thermal area = 1 hour - Coromandel

When you arrive we will meet you and show you around ,where everything is and operates. We are on call if you require any assistance during your stay. We can assist with directions and suggestions for the local and broader area. Restaurants, bars, sports, touring or whatever you require. We'll be happy to help.

Very nicely set up

I arr with my disabled son at 8 30 at nite from auck airport iwas worried what we would do for breakfast we were meet by rob who had been trying to contact us but my phone would not work when i got into the kitchen there was tea coffee sugar milk orange juice cerealbread butter jam vegimite marmelade what a surprise the nextday rob lent me his old phone where else would you find such hospitality thanks rob and lorna i give you10 out of 10

Luxury in style

Stunning property, beautifully presented. Spotlessly clean. A Hop, skip and a jump to the city Centre. So convenient, yet an oasis hideaway from the hussle and bustle of the city. Stunning views, our amazing hosts ensured we enjoyed our stay with First class service. Our own parking, entrance and outdoor area. Just magic. Thank you for having us we would highly recommend to everyone visiting Tauranga whom want a first class experience. Shopping amazing, restaurants and bars outstanding. We will return.

Week in Tauranga, New Zealand

The photograph is misleading. The actual accommodation is behind the hedge on the ground floor. Parking was difficult. No washer or dryer although owners did offer to do a wash for us. No fan in bathroom - resulted in setting off fire alarm. Good location within walking distance of town centre. Accommodation was clean and well furnished although somewhat cramped.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review Stan & Maureen. Our letting is designed for short term rentals and as such we do not offer laundry facilities although there is a laundrette nearby. We did do a wash for you to try to oblige. I do not agree that the photos are misleading as they show the accommodation from front to back and outside and in. The fence is clearly shown. The parking is well off the street and very safe right by the accomodation. There is ventilation in the bathroom, we have both smoke and co2 detectors for your protection but neither are in the bathroom? We try very hard to please our guests. I hope you had a good holiday in New Zealand.
