Superbly spacious period property with 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms LE BEAU JARDIN

This is a large unique period property, including many original features, with colourful Languedoc floor tiles, high ceilings and winding staircase. The house has been completely renovated recently and furnished with French furniture, contemporary with the house.There are 5 double bedrooms on the first floor, 2 of them en suite. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, 3 other bathrooms are available .

There is a beautiful mediterranean garden, with swimming pool, lawn and mature plants and palm trees.

The house is situated close to the centre of the medieval village of Magalas. The village has 2 bakeries, 3 restaurants, including the fantastic O Bontemps, a bank, post office and 2 doctors. There is a large supermarket on the outskirts of the village and also an outlet, where all the wines of the region may be purchased.

Magalas is 30 minutes from beautiful Mediterranean

Lovely French style in a good location

Lovely house in the French style. Very comfortable being extremely well appointed with everything you need. Very tasteful furniture, furnishings and decor. Close to small village, bars and a fabulous restaurant ( Bistrot de Gallerie). Loved the pool area and well kept garden and the very comfortable loungers! Many great places to visit nearby, Pezanas is fantastic. Well worth it. Booking and follow up punctual and helpful. Happy to recommend.

Schönes Haus!

Das Haus ist prima ausgestattet und hat viele Zimmer und Bäder, diesen großzügiges Wohnen möglich macht. Garten und Pool sind toll. Leider sind die Geräusche um das Haus doch recht laut. Es liegt zentral im Ort Magalas (hübsch und praktisch) , Mofas und Autos hört man teils auch nachts vorbei rauschen... Läuft man ein wenig, hat man tollste Natur dahinter...

Zum Meer ist es eine halbe Stunde. Wen das nicht stört, der hat hier ein tolles Haus gefunden für die Ferien!

Best Creedy family holiday ever

The villa exceeded our expectations so large ,well maintained, very clean, beautifully furnished, very good position in the village. Very good customer service.Would certainly recommend it to others. The shops and bars were all good. The pool and safe garden made the holiday for the grandchildren.

A great holiday

We were a party of 10 adults, arrived 23rd May 2015 for a week. The house was immaculate. Large traditional style French house, ideal for families and large groups. Plenty of bathrooms with some en suite, lovely large kitchen and dining area with doors out to the garden. Lovely sunny pool area and garden with sun and shade. Completely private and safe for families, also nice BBQ area. Magalas is an nice place with a couple of restaurants and bars, small shop, larger intermarche supermarket only a few minutes away. Lovely area with plenty of places to see within half an hour to one hour drive. Owners very helpful, spoke by phone and used e-mail. We had a great time and will come here again as there is so much more to see.

Wonderful house, would recommend

A group of adults, we planned to spend a week exploring the region, but ended up rarely leaving the pool and garden. Very relaxing place to stay, just great to sit around the pool and soak up the sun. We had dinner outside every night. The house is well-equipped, everything you could want in the kitchen, seven bedrooms (!), lots of places for people to retreat to if they want to read, and the owners have just installed Wi-Fi. We would happily book this again. The owners were very good, responding to our questions by email and the place was clean and looked good when we arrived. The only piece of advice I would give you is choose your time to visit. We arrived in the grape harvesting season, and there were tractors and trucks going through the village from about 4am right past our door. So bring some ear plugs if you come at harvesting season! Magalas is a pretty village, and there is a good pizza place up the hill from the house, and opposite a good place for coffee and croissants. Oh I wish I was back there now…
