Located in one of Vallarta's highly desirable complexes , situated in lush, tropical gardens with pool, this is a true oasis just a few blocks from the famed Malecon. Cafes, restaurants, art galleries and music are all a short, 4 block walk away.

Our unit's location at the far corner of this low density complex provides complete privacy featuring incredible wrap around terraces. Totally remodeled but retaining the "Old World" charm of Mexican Architecture.

This is the best unit at Puesta Del Sol as it is located in the highest building on the north side of the complex insuring privacy and an unobstructed view of the city and the bay. Location on the 3rd floor means you have a shaded overhang in addition to terrace shades that can be lowered in the afternoon. Sunsets from the terrace are stunning! Furnishings are elegant, but comfortable offering lots of places to relax and listen to music, read or hang with friends. The decoration is upscale and reflects the wonderful art and culture of Mexico. We love our home because it is not the typical modern granite and stainless found in most condos, the feel of "Traditional Old Style Mexico" has been preserved. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped with multiple sets of dishes, glassware, flatware, blender and other appliances to make your stay comfortable. Full sets of Linens and Towels are available for your use.

The Neighborhood

Located steps behind the renowned "Cafe Artist", the location could not be more perfect! A few blocks puts you on the water and the beautiful boardwalk called the Malecon. There you will find bronze sculptures dotting the waterfront. Masters of sand sculpture and and an arena for performances are a short walk south. Hundreds of restaurants, bars and cafes are a 5 min walk. We love this location because it is so easy to walk north to the beach at Camarones or south to the Romantic Zone. If you don't feel like walking, buses are super cheap and easy to use and taxis are plentiful for $5 to $6 dollars. There is nothing like strolling the Malecon at night, super safe you will be among families with children, young lovers and older folks who are out for there after dinner ritual of enjoying the perfect weather, the ocean and the lovely ambience of Puerto Vallarta.

Getting Around

We find walking to be our preferred method of getting around,however, if we are not up for it the buses are a few cents and could not be easier to use. There is a one way street headed north and a one way street headed south, jump on and off where you please and the drivers are always willing to help you out with their stops. Trips to Costco are easier with a taxi or Uber, normally about $6-$12 depending on time of day and other stops.
