About Allison Beresovoy

We purchased this property in February of 2013 and used this home as vacation property, but with 3 children and sports we don't get enough time off on the weekends to sneak away and use the property. We started renting the property in late 2016.

Allison Beresovoy purchased this house in 4

Why Allison Beresovoy chose Locust Lake Village

We loved that is was close to the lake but not on water since we had young children at the time of purchase.

The house is very easy to get to from the main entrance to the community.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your weekend! Keep us mind for quick Summer getaways because sitting on the beach by the lake is wonderful when it's warm. Hope to have you stay again in the future.

pics are a bit decieving

  • 2 of 5

I stayed at this house labor day weekend. first impression of the house was that the pics definitely make the house seem bigger then what it is. once we got there and were unpacking, I came to discover mouse droppings in all bedrooms. one bedroom (queen bed upstairs) was the worst. there were small piles of dropping in the corners of the room and also in the bed and under the mattress. once I moved the end able I was horrified by the amount of dropping under there.so now I went to inspect the rest of the house. the bedroom with the crib and bunk beds seemed fine at first, but once I moved the crib (it was blocking the closet) and opened the closet, I came to find a ridiculous amount of mouse droppings in there. It as awful.then on to the bed in the loft. I found mouse droppings on the actual bed, the trundle underneath had a bunch of droppings as well as behind the nightstand. I also found dropping in the main floor master. this room was the cleanest to be honest. at this point I told my friend who booked the house who was in communication with the owner to email her and to tell her what was going on. the owner came back to tell us it was unseasonably cold and this is what happens. then called the cleaning lady to come vacuum.the cleaning lady apparently just cleaned the house Tuesday and we arrived Thursday.so in my opinion, that was a lie, due to how much mouse droppings there were. we left to go buy sheets (although she does provide them, I wasnt using them. at this point I was skeeved).we went to Walmart and as we were there the cleaning lady had come so we drove back to the house so I could speak to her. she too claimed to have just cleaned the house. if this was in fact true, the house was riddled with mice if that's how much droppings there were within a day! between a few emails back and forth with the owner and my friend, not once did she seem bothered at the fact that her renters were unhappy with the accomodations, nor did she even try to make it right (if that was possible) and offer to pay for our passes to the lakes for even one day!!!! nothing, she did nothing. we ended up staying.I had to sleep on the recliner and couch because I refused to sleep in the queen room upstairs (personal choice. I don't like sleeping with mouse droppings everywhere)

so after all emails, she never followed up to see how we were, considering we had a big complaint. bad business on her part.

keep searching, I'm sure you can find better.

Owner's Response: Jeannette, We are so sorry that your first impression was soured and that you did not have a nice weekend. We are the owners of this house and use it as well and having strangers into our personal space was a tough decision, but in the end we are glad that the house is being used over sitting vacant! I get as distraught as the renters when the condition of the house is not to par, activities within the community get cancelled or one's overall stay is not up to their expectations. We did what we could as soon as you got in touch with us...people who DON'T care would not have responded as quick, or at all. We have an open line of communication and you could have reached one of us personally after your stay if you were looking for a refund of any kind...

Clean and pleasant house, with a great screened-in deck with a large table and plenty of chairs

  • 4 of 5

Our group (seniors) enjoyed our extended weekend! We shopped during the rain day, enjoyed the beach, and had fun at the association sponsored dinner and activity. The house was pleasant, and big enough to easily accommodate the six of us. We took advantage of the fire pit which did not discourage the deer.

The location was great, close to the lakes, and the chateau. I really appreciated Allison's graciousness in responding quickly to my questions. Would recommend this house to anyone. Thanks Allison!
