Light and spacious apartment with stuccoed ceilings, completely renovated, new furniture, a modern kitchen and all facilities. It's the typical charming Berlin apartments from where you can easily reach all sights. Absolute non-smoker apartment!

Three big separate bedrooms, separate kitchen and spacious dining/living room. Centrally located, 5 min. walk to either S-Bahn or U-Bahn. Only 4 stops to Kurfürstendamm, 2 stops to exhibition center. Shops, restaurants close by. Two parks with playground, sunbathing ground and boule area are just next door.

Excellent Berlin apartment

Our stay in this apartment was trouble-free and comfortable. As our first visit to Berlin, we found the whole rental process convenient and the owners put our mind at rest with regular emails and phone contact. The apartment itself was immaculate, all rooms spacious, the lounge welcoming and all furniture comfortable and clean.

Everything had been thought of in the kitchen making it a pleasure to use, even when cooking for 6 people. The bathroom was incredibly clean and useable.

The location of the apartment was perfect for us, as we were in Berlin for the marathon which requiring travelling into the city centre, easily reachable by the nearby U Bahn. There was also the option to park outside on the street.

Overall, the apartment was clean, well maintained and I would recommend it for anyone in a group looking for a spacious apartment near to all the city's facilities.

Beautiful apartment in excellent location.

Having stayed in many European apartments I am always a little sceptical about the pictures versus the actual reality. However this apartment is (as other visitors have said) even better than the pictures. It is beautiful. Large rooms, spotlessly clean, well equipped, elegant and comfortable.

I am writing this review on the balcony overlooking a quiet but interesting street after yet another enjoyable meal at the Dicker Engel just up the road opposite the UBahn station. Tip - enjoy the meal and good selection of beer but avoid overpriced desserts!

The apartment is truly stunning. We are a family group with two adult children and all found the place perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with larder ingredients including tea, oil, herbs, sugar, cleaning products and even balsamic vinegar! There is a huge selection of DVDs and many books and magazines too. Beds appear to have memory foam mattresses. Really cannot fault the apartment at all.

The UBahn gives close access to all the major sites- we bought the Berlin Pass and this has more than paid for itself already, and we still have two days left here!

There is a big supermarket Edeka in the big shopping complex just up from the UBahn on Birkenstrasse in a large black fronted building.

All in all we would thoroughly recommend the apartment, location and Berlin in general...and this is from someone who doesn't normally post reviews!

Un très bel appartement pour un très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Berlin, notamment grâce à ce très bel appartement que nous avons occupé durant une semaine. Très grand, très calme, très bien équipé.

Il est proche de deux stations de métro, ce qui permet d'aller rapidement aux différents endroits intéressants de Berlin. Il est à 5 minutes d'un supermarché (Edika) qui ouvre à 7h le matin et qui vend des porduits de bonne qualité, notamment du pain.

L'appartement ne présente pas de défauts, on s'y sent comme chez soi, si nous devions retourner à Berlin, nous louerions sans hésitation à nouveau.

Fantastic apartment

The apartment is every bit as good as the photos suggest. It is spacious with large bedrooms, a large main room and decent bathroom facilities. On arrival we were a bit late but our contact was patiently waiting for us. It was easy to find and is only a 5 minute walk from both S and U train stations.

Once inside we found it to be clean and uncluttered. We were a family of 8 with 2 younger children and we found the sleeping arrangements easy because of the options available.

We stayed for 5 nights. The apartment is located in a quiet suburb but is easily accessible from all the attractions by train. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby so you don't need to travel far if you prefer not to. Every day we were back and forth into the centre of the city which didn't take long at all. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to list attractions and directions to them which is helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would recommend this apartment.

Wundervoll!

Die großzügige Altbauwohnung erfüllt alle Hoffnungen, die man nach dem Lesen der Anzeige im Internet hegt: viel Platz, geschmackvolle Möbel, eine "echte" Wohnung mit richtiger Küche, großem Bad und einer edlen, aber trotzdem gemütlichen (und sauberen) Ausstrahlung. Gute Verkehrsanbindung, schöne Kneipen in unmittelbarer Nähe, sehr ruhig gelegen. Jederzeit wieder!

Great Apartment for Berlin Break.

The pictures don't do justice to this apartment, it looks good but it's better than that. It's spacious, well fitted out, comfortable beds, great kitchen if you want to eat in, a separate shower/bathroom and toilet and full washing/drying facilities. It has three separate very large bedrooms too. The 3.5m high ceilings give the rooms a great presence and it is comfortably furnished. The street outside is quiet too so no road noise.

Three of us stayed for 11 nights and it was a great place to return to after a hard day being a tourist.

The property is very well maintained and very secure.

It's around 5-10minutes walk either way to the nearest U Bahn or S Bahn station so easy access to the transport network for getting around Berlin and beyond. The dedicated TXL bus also leaves the bus stop next to the Buesselstrasse S Bahn station and is around 10 minutes to Tegel airport (for €2.70). There are plenty restaurants nearby and the Dicker Engel on the way to the U Bahn station (5 minutes walk) has good food at a reasonable price and is worth a visit.

Sigi, the owner, was incredibly helpful providing us with a huge amount of information at the time we booked and by email prior to our arrival. We can't thank her enough.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this apartment or using it again if returning to Berlin.
