About the property

Large studio garden apartment with huge semi covered patio.

This is a first floor apartment in a duplex. The structure is a modern craftsman house, rebuilt in 2005. The space is very private. It used to be a one bedroom apartment, but we opened it up into a large studio.

California King size bed, full kitchen, gas cook-top, microwave, walk in closet, 3/4 bath with modern Kohler fixtures and corner shower. This apartment has it's own private laundry washing machine and dryer.

French doors lead out onto a big, private, partially covered patio, with green trees everywhere. Private off street parking is available, with private gated entrance. The house has central heat/air conditioning and I set the thermostat between 70 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit (21-25 Celsius) depending on the weather.

Notes:
The apartment is in the rear of the house on the bottom floor. The street directly behind my house is Sanborn Ave. No parking permit is required for that (900) block of Sanborn Ave. (check signs for street sweeping, wed/fri 12-2pm. If you're not able to find parking on Sanborn, you can park on my property. If you check your g-maps, located between 967 and 961 Sanborn, there is an alley. Pull straight into the alley and you will see at the end, an 8 foot tall, wood fence. Pull up to the fence, keep to the right and pull up into the right hand corner. My property is the unpaved portion in front of the fence. In the right hand corner is a pedestrian gate. I will leave the gate unlocked. Please lock the gate behind you. The apartment will also be unlocked for guests. A set of keys and a page with additional information is inside. Call me ANYTIME if you need help with parking or getting into the property.

Great set-up, setting, and host!

My sister and I met in LA to attend a concert. Chris called shortly before check-in and helped talk us through getting to the property which was really helpful. He then showed us around the place and gave suggestions of where to walk to for food, drinks, and groceries. The entire time he was accessible, friendly, and a very welcoming host.

The property is great; we spent a lot of time outside on the patio, which is nicely furnished and decorated. The location is good, too; it's a quiet neighborhood about 2 blocks away from Sunset, so lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our concert was at Dodgers Stadium, about 3 miles away and a $15 uber ride.

One thing to note - there is no TV, which didn't bother us in the least, but keep that in mind if that's important to you!

If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back!!! Thanks for everything, Chris!
