This cabin sits right on top of the Skykomish river with mountain views. Lots of hiking in the area. Short ways to Stevens pass. For downhill skiing. Nordic center for cross country skiing too. Hikes to waterfalls and horseback riding close by. In the summer river rafting is a blast. Fishing is all so good on this river. 4 guests are the best for the size of this cabin and small children are not advised. No smoking inside of house of any kind and no dogs I'm allergic. Hot tub looks right over the river for a wonderful experience. A damage deposit is required of 500.00 One hour from Leavenworth and October beer festival. Leavenworth is a must and a beautiful little town to visit. You won't be sorry great food and lots to do there. We ski so we are a short ways from Stevens pass. Nordic center for cross country skiing too. Hikes to waterfalls and horseback riding down the street.

Did I say we have a wonderful hot tub? Looks out over the river.

Fantastic Weekend Escape!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect weekend away for us. Judy was a pleasure to work with, and the house was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was the ideal way to unwind and the view of the stars on the clear nights was spectacular! It was a quick walk down the street to do some fishing off the beach. Another highlight was a beautiful hike to Wallace Falls (10 minute drive from the house). It was an easy drive from Seattle, and there is no doubt we will be coming back when we need a break again!

Great weekend "getaway from Seattle"

  • 5 of 5

We fell in love with this cabin the moment we arrived. Cabin is comfortable and cozy. View is spectacular. Hot tub under the stars was phenomenal. We would love to stay here again. Great place any time of the year.

Judy the owner was so helpful and kind. We greatly appreciate the hard work they put into making this cabin so wonderful.

Quiet retreat

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay. The only challenge I see was the no separate room for the toilet in the loft as a previous reviewer stated.

Owner's Response: Toilet in the loft is totally private. It is to be used at night so you do not have to walk all the way down stairs to the bathroom. Personally I'm very glad to have it in the middle of the night when I'm half a sleep. Judy

Relaxing stay by the river

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely place for a getaway. The place was large enough to comfortably host 3 adults for the weekend. We spent most of our time on the relaxing deck overlooking the river, and enjoyed a hike close by.

It was cosy and comfortable....

  • 4 of 5

The house was well organized and comfortable with nice view towards the mountain and near the river. there were some minor things. like, the bathroom upstairs had no wall, and it made it harder for the people upstairs to use the bathroom, and some of the towels were really old.

Owner's Response: Our guests have been hard on some of the towels but most of them are pretty new. The bath upstairs is totally private so the house came this way and I have been very happy to have a toilet in the middle of the night. Judy
