surprised after seeing the posted pictures

The property inside was clean and well stocked. The main reason our family chose this location was because of the pool and hot tub. We noticed the first day the pools hot tub was not working and had to call twice and wait a few hours before hearing back from anyone. The issue was resolved and we were able to enjoy the Hot tub. I must say we were surprised that the grass was in very bad need of cutting and none of the outside areas were clean enough to use. Several areas inside need attention ( towel rack ready to come off the wall, knobs missing, spiral staircase very loose at the top, the main side door that we used to get to the pool was super hard to open from the outside unless you put your body weight behind and gave a good push) I could go on and on but you get the drift. We did read the reviews before we went but had hoped the issues had been addressed. For the cost I don't think I would recommend this property. We did enjoy a hike to outlook , cucumber falls and take out dinner at from Stone House.

Beautiful & Cozy

We had such a wonderful stay at this home away from home. We were able to utilize the pool and hot-tub, relax and play board games with friends, and just get away from the city for a bit. W Weill be absolutely booking this place again!

Cozy Private Home!

Stayed here with a few friends for a girls weekend getaway and had such a lovely time at the property. The property manager was generous enough to keep the pool open an extra weekend after it would typically close for Labor Day. The property was clean and well maintained and we felt very at home with the amenities. We definitely will be staying here again!

Labor Day weekend

Hello, Overall our stay was good, the outside area was the best part and the location. There does need to be a lot of renovations throughout the house. In one of the bathrooms downstairs the title was broken. At first the showers were clogged, then we unclogged them. Multiple lights throughout the house needed new bulbs. The kitchen faucet handle was loose. There was mouse traps out on the first floor. The bathroom upstairs had dead bugs on the window seal and a pile of dust. The outside area with the fireplace needs a lot of work. The stone walking up to it and around the table were uneven, and falling apart. We did enjoy our stay hopefully this review will help for the upcoming renters.

Good Ownership

There was an issue with this property and the company called me the day prior to alert me. They offered us a different property. They took full responsibility and moved us to a more expensive property and issued a partial refund. I would much prefer that the company do what it did than try and pinch a penny and have us stay in the original place with whatever problem it was having. I understand things come up and this company (although short notice) handled it the best way and we were very satisfied. Communication was good and getting in touch with someone when needed was easy. So while we didnt end up staying at this exact property, we were very happy with where we did stay and all the things we needed and wanted to do were still available for us. I would definitely rent with this company again.
