The cottage is close to entertainment, dining, shopping, cultural events, sporting events, trails, highways, public transport, DTC, and downtown. The cottage is warm and inviting, in a quiet, well established quaint neighborhood with all the comforts of home. The kitchen is furnished with the essentials you'll need to prepare meals and is equipped with full-size appliances including a refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave. You'll also find dishes, bakeware, pots, pans, utensils, coffee maker, teapot, and a toaster. The cottage has a new, full-size front loading washer, and dryer. This home away from home offers beautifully decorated private apartment. Each unit is fully equipped with bedding, pillows, towels, blankets, TV with basic cable channels, free WiFi, and plenty of easy to access street parking.

Neighborhood overview

The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to so much. We are just blocks away from the major highway that runs through the city, allowing convenient access to downtown, DTC, Colorado Blvd., DU, walking trails, food, entertainment, and shopping. The cottages are nestled in a private, mature, quiet neighborhood, yet close to almost everything you will want to do while in Denver.

Getting around

Denver has recently developed its public transit system into an efficient way to get around. There is a RTD Light Rail station blocks from the cottage, as well as buses that travel all over the city. Denver and surrounding is a community that is spread out over a large area, having access to a car is not required, but certainly helps. If your goal is to be near DU, the cottages are less than a mile from the DU campus, making is convenient to walk, bus, or drive. The cottage is centrally located, with very convenient to access I-25, which connects to other major freeways. In addition to easy highway access, Denver has a Light Rail and bus system that allows you to get most anywhere. Please check online to make sure your destinations are accessible via our public transportation system prior to booking. If you like to walk, you can easily get to several dine-in restaurants, the grocery store, movie theater, and a historic walking trail, just a couple blocks from the cottages.

We stayed at the Denver apartment over the holidays with my son and his wife. it was the perfect place to stay - clean, warm, and nicely appointed. We particularly appreciated the coffee and tea bar! Great place for parents or guests of students to stay.

There is so much to do in and around Denver. Within a few minutes walking, you can visit local restaurants and market. A short car ride, the restaurant possibilities are nearly endless. There is a high-end mall close to the cottages in Cherry Creek. If you like adventure, head to the mountains. There you will find so much to do depending on the time of year. During the winder, you can try snowboarding or skiing. During the warmer months, give hiking a try.
