Rustic bliss with all the comforts and a pristine outdoor ambience

My family of 3 were delighted with the cabin and proximity to the water. We used the row boat, paddle boat and swam everyday. We enjoyed watching and listening to the calming lake sounds. I brought my 80 year old mother out from Spokane and she was so impressed that she might try to book with you next year. The weather was perfectly hot in the late afternoon with a nice cool morning and night for sleep. We had very few bugs and a daily visit from a family of ducks. After dark we listened to the fisherman in their boats and watched for shooting stars & satellites crossing the sky. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin and how well prepared it was for our stay. The BBQ was super clean and we used it often. i plan to return as it was perfect!

We had a great time. Extraordinarily beautiful waterfront location with prime sunsets. Cabin was immaculate and well stocked for all of our needs. Easy access to highway for store jaunts. Fishermens delight. I have rented at many different waterfront locations in Washington and Hawaii. This one is my favorite.

A lovely place to stay. Very clean and accomodating.

The cabin is so cute- very clean and updated. It's full of cozy accomodations from a welcome basket to board games, movies, sand toys- even life jackets and beach towels. Furniture and linens are in great condition as well as the fully-stocked kitchen, right down to duct tape and a garlic press. We were impressed and felt right at home.

The beach has sand to play in, a dock with a row and paddle boat and another dock further out to swim from. Our one complaint is the mucky lake bottom. We lost a few shoes in the mud on our first run into the water. Shallow beach playing is great, swimming off the furthest dock was great but had to paddle board the kiddos out there, which we didn't mind. The water is so warm and the folks in the area are really friendly.

We enjoyed the few trains that went by . The track is close but up an embankment, and the trains moved really slow as they went through. We would love to visit again.

This cabin is comfortable, clean and has plenty of room. The owners are very thoughtful as evidenced by the care of the cabin and property. They also have every item you could want or need during your stay, inside or outside. Our stay was beautiful and we really felt at home. I would highly recommend this place for your next vacation!

Peaceful cabin and friendly owner!

My husband and I rented this cabin prior to our wedding for three nights and couldn't have been happier. We originally planned to stay for two nights: the first night my husband with his groomsmen and the next him and I and a couple of out-of-town guests. We wanted to see it before so we knew how to get there and to be able to give his groomsmen directions the day before. The owner, Kevin, was nice enough to not only let us check it out beforehand but showed us all around and we even chatted for a bit. He was so friendly and we knew it would be perfect. After the chaos of our wedding we decided we really wanted to stay another night just the two of us. Upon contacting Kevin he made sure it wasn't reserved and let us stay another night no questions asked. He even took the additional charge off of our safety deposit in the end so we didn't have to do another credit transaction for the extra night.

The night before the wedding when the groomsmen arrived there was a welcome card and a bottle of champagne, it was so incredibly thoughtful and made our experience even more special. The cute cabin was more than accommodating with ample sleeping room including a futon and comfortable couch in addition to the two rooms. The kitchen was supplied with all the basic necessities (salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee etc.) and everything was pretty easy to find. The deck was nice and spacious and was perfect for a family bbq the day after the wedding. There was even firewood and a bit ready for us to use. The water was a little shallow and slightly mucky so we had to be careful jumping off the dock but there is a small sandy beach for easier swimming access. We had so much fun going out on the paddle boat and some tubes during the day and stayed up late to watch all the beautiful stars off the dock at night. (It's SOOO peaceful out there!!) My husband and I are extremely happy we stayed at this cabin and hope to return next summer. We highly recommend it!! :)
