Beach Condo- 2 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths - Sleeps 6

Our condo is located at the Gulf Shores Plantation. The address is 400 Plantation Road, Gulf Shores, AL, 36542, which is about 12 miles from the main attractions in downtown Gulf Shores. Our condo is in Building 2, East Side, on the 2nd floor, unit #2215. We are conveniently, located close to the elevator and stairway. Our condo is on the gulf side, gulf Front. Our building runs perpendicular. We are the 4th unit back from beach. It is about a 30 yard walk to the beach boardwalk, outdoor pools and indoor pool. ( We also own the condo right next door to this one, it's condo #2217. It also sleeps 6 people, it has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and also has a pull out sofa sleeper. You can view it on vacation rentals.com, listing ID #7111168.) The units are built out at an angle, which offers good ocean views especially from the balcony and master bedroom. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo and will accommodate 6 people comfortably. The Condo is nicely decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. In April, 2017, we put in brand new countertops and flooring in the kitchen. We have queen size beds in both bedrooms. Master bedroom has private bath. We have Flat screen TV's in living room and Master bedroom. We have a brand new sofa sleeper in living room, with memory foam mattress, also queen size. All of the living room furniture was bought brand new when we purchased this condo in June 2016. We have Internet/wi-fi and cable. Strictly, No pets allowed on the premises and strictly, No smoking allowed inside the condo!!!

We are located at the Gulf Shores Plantation, about 12 miles from the main attractions downtown. The plantation offers water rentals such as parasail rides, banana boat rides and wave runner rides. You may also rent the beach chairs and umbrellas.

We also have Sassy Bass Island Grill on site. They have great food and drinks. We also have Kiva Grill on site and Uncle Leo's. Also, very good food. While you're in town, don't forget to check out the new amusement park, OWA , located in Foley. It awesome!!

Wonderful Condo

No what i expected

we did not even stay, one look of the room, facilty, pools, etc and we went to a hotel on the beach in orange beach.........Plantation is not what i am used to, whole complex is deplorable...falling sidig, dark dingy hallways, grounds, facility, roads, boardwalk to beach, parking lot old and in deire need of renovation........for the money, i can stay in perdido or orange beach in a newer, nicer highrise.................forget about "Plantation" and go to a newer facility....

Owner's Response: I have waited a while to respond to this review. I have never had to respond to a review of such a defamatory nature. My business and reputation are very important to me. I know that I have to uphold them, and I do that, by keeping my condo as nice and clean as l possibly, can. I live about 5 hours away, so I am unable to clean my condos myself, but we do have very good housekeepers. They are licensed and bonded and the condos are also inspected after each cleaning. They also have a reputation to uphold, so they are very good. My husband and I have put a lot of time and money into this condo to make it even better. We own two condos at this facility. We have been owners since 2013. We bought this condo in June of 2016. We bought brand new living room furniture, bed comforters, curtains, bathroom rugs and shower curtains for the condo when we bought it. In April 2017, we put in brand new countertops and flooring in the kitchen. We also, freshly, painted. Our next big project will be to put new flooring in the living room and bedrooms. We do our best to keep both of our condos nice and up to date. We do this to make you, our guests, happy and satisfied when you choose to stay with us for your vacation. Also, our facility is very nice and clean. The facility is always being upgraded. Our pools are very clean and inspected regularly. We are very happy with the facility, condos and how close we are located to the beaches, pools and the beautiful gulf. I really hope you will choose to stay with us for your vacation. Okay

The room wasn't very clean. There was food on the floor when we entered and some of the linens were dirty. We also didn't get our code until 2 hours after check in time. Luckily the cleaning ladies were around and let us in after we got an email that the room "was clean and ready". The beach was nice and the room was mostly updated.

The property was great! Well taken care of, just like being at home except with the beach in the backyard. A very short walk down the boardwalk and your toes are in the sand.

Great two bed two bath condo!

Great two bedroom two bath condo! The second bedroom with the bathroom can be separated by a door to the main area of the condo making it feel like a master suite. Great for two couples! Water pressure was excellent which is a much needed for any beach condo!
