You’ll fall in love with the spectacular oceanfront views in this secure, gated-community home located right on the water at the eastern tip of Nassau near Palm Cay Marina & Beach Club. Enjoy swimming, kayaking and snorkelling literally on your doorstep, sunrise and moonrise off the back patio - and in winter you can also watch the awesome sunsets. If you want to experience the REAL Bahamas, out of the way of the busier tourism hubs yet still within a 15-minute drive, this is the home for you. *NOTE: There is a 5-night minimum stay requirement for booking. *WARNING: Please book directly with VRBO and NOT with 3rd-party companies or anyone using my name outside of VRBO. Better than the pictures!

We've stayed in our fair share of beach rentals, this was our 1st international trip though. 4 of us needed some R&R after a rager of a music cruise. Was a quick flight from FLL, used the recommended Sand Dollar Rental (who were also very very nice to deal with, I had contacted them the day prior and they were able to get the car there earlier) Paola was spot on with all the info we knew we'd need and didnt know we needed to know to have the best time possible. We took advantage of the grill most nights we ate at home. House is very well stocked. We were happy to add to the house spice collection and grateful for what was left by previous guests. Had a few fun nights playing cards when the rain came. Driving on the left was fun! We made it all the way around the and enjoyed a few different beaches. Cabbage beach on paradise island was breathtaking! Downtown was fun! Hope we can get back to paradise sooner than later!

Paradise, a true escape !

Probably the most real vacation from the real world we have had. No comparison ! House was right on the edge of the island.. amazing. The local beach was so perfect. We will be back without a doubt. Highly recommended!

Fantastic!

We had such an amazing vacation at Sunrise by the Sea. Your house is beautiful and it was perfect for our family. We could tell you take a lot of pride in the home, which made it a joy to stay in for the week we were there. We loved exploring the tide pools every day, kayaking and snorkeling. Each day was a different adventure.

Absolutely stunning

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Right when you walk in you are greeted with two sets of double doors overlooking the water. Security was awesome, home was clean and snorkeling/kayaking was great. I would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10

I am half Manx, half Italian, speak with a northern England accent, but feel mostly Bahamian, with a history here that started when I was 3 years old. It makes it hard to answer the question, "Where are you from?" I feel that my heart is in the sun, sea and sand of The Bahamas - whether the hustle and bustle of the capital, Nassau, the quaint New-England style of Hope Town, or the raw beauty of the Exumas. But I also feel that Rome is my home, where nearly all my dad's family live, and Douglas Head in the Isle of Man, where I was born. Wherever you are from, I promise that you'll feel right at home here in this gem of a house in the safe, gated community of Treasure Cove. We can't wait for you to experience it!

Why they chose this property

When people walk into this home they are immediately struck by the spa-like tranquility and ocean views from nearly every window; the patio and deck leading directly to the sea; and at night by the blanket of stars that light up the sky. And oh, did I mention the ocean? It's literally right on your back-doorstep. Feel free to use the kayaks and snorkelling equipment and really explore the "back garden". The interior decor of Sunrise by the Sea reflects the colours of the sea and provides a peaceful yet rejuvenating haven for a truly therapeutic and fun vacation.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the house primarily because of its location and the back patio! It's a great place to chat with friends, play guitar, sip wine, relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. There's a view of the sea from every room in the house and large windows to truly appreciate it.
