This exclusive mews house was originally where the Victorians housed their horse and carriages, at the other end of their garden from the main large terrace houses; in the early 1930’s these were converted into quaint homes. The property is decorated to a very high standard and is tucked away in a quiet leafy mews.3 bedrooms each with their own facilities make living here vey easy and it is only a 3 minute walk to buses and a 5 minute walk to the underground railway system. Within a 10 minute underground train ride or a 20 minute bus ride you will be in the heart of the west end of London where department stores, theatres and restaurants are in abundance; there is even a bus that takes you direct to Harrods. Little Venice has its own restaurants, a fringe theatre and a lovely selection of old pubs. It boasts every amenity, from a fully equipped eat in kitchen, Satellite TV, DVD player and ADSL line. The office/library and TV/family area will satisfy your business and entertainment needs. Facing south the property feels bright and airy; a housekeeper attends once a week or more frequently if required.

SITE SEEING: London is one of the most enjoyable and attractive cities in the world. Its history is rich and the cosmopolitan life style intoxicating. Theatres are close to the property and first class, as are globally renowned museums amd libraries. All of what London has to offer is within easy reach from the house, with most underground trips only taking 15 minutes and most bus trips just 30 minutes. For example the underground station, within 400 metres of the house, takes you to the heart of the West End in 15 minutes. Further Harrods, the worlds greatest department store, is only a 25 minute bus ride away (the bus stop is 100 metres from the hosue).

Perfect Home in Ideal Location

Our entire family had the privilege of staying in this beautiful home during our 7 day visit to London. The home is bright, tastefully decorated and located in an ideal spot within a 5 minute walk to the Underground station. The area of Little Venice was charming with its canal and good pubs and restaurants. We were able to access all the sights of London by using the underground which was very easy and economical to use.

It is obvious the owners take pride in their home and have thought of everything to help make your visit a pleasant one. There was even some food and wine waiting for us when we arrived.

We highly recommend this property to anyone travelling to London. It is a comfortable, charming, convenient property and helped to make our London holiday a wonderful experience. In addition, the owner is a pleasure to work with and is most accommodating. We will certainly stay here again when we return to the UK.

Fabulous!

Our family had lived in London twice -- in the early 90's and late-00's. Our 17 day visit did not disappoint. As previous visitors have written, the house was great for location, ease of transportation (buses were plentiful and went just about every direction), ease of grocery shopping, access to lovely pubs and restaurants within walking distance, etc. Bombay Take-Away will deliver and their food was delicious. You can order Italian takeaway from D-Daniela very close by -- it is a lovely small restaurant for in-house dining. Bring your own wine - small corkage fee.

The housekeeper, Dorianna, was very helpful and the place was clean and well stocked. It was especially comfortable to relax in the evenings -- it was also easy to prepare meals when we elected to do so.

Our 10 month old grandson was with us on this trip and a travel cot and high chair were provided for him. It was relatively easy to have him there and to our delight, he was content to play with his own toys and not go after the many lovely items located in the living room and library.

We would definitely rent the house again on any future visit and we have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and other family members.

Great two weeks!

My wife and I along with our two teen-age boys stayed in this lovely home for two weeks. With a bus stop right around the corner and a tube station within a 5 minute walk the location couldn't have been better. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and is very close to a couple of great pubs and a fantastic Italian place.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook for yourself - which we did often. A little bodega is also just around the corner for those quick necessities. I was very pleased with the communication and informational notebooks left by the Owner. i should note that this house has three floors. Two bedrooms, including the Master, are located on the top floor. The living area is on the second floor and the kitchen and a third bedroom are on the ground floor. The staircase winds all the way up. We found it charming, but those who can't navigate stairs very well should take note.

I would recommend this property very highly and would stay here again.

Lovely home in a peaceful neighborhood

Just coming back from 10 days at Robert's beautiful home. Our family of 5 were very comfortable during our visit. There was plenty of room to spread out and it was nice having the three levels - made it easy to grab some quiet alone time after a days wandering London. The tube stop is a quick 5 minute walk from the rental and there's a pub a stones throw away from the front door. The neighborhood is a great respite after the hustle bustle of busy central London. Make sure to take a canal boat ride to Camden Town when visiting - one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks so much Robert for making our stay so comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

The perfect place for our family of 6!

Robert's rental in Little Venice was absolutely perfect for our family's week long trip to London. We had 6 adults, 3 rooms a piece and the house suited us wonderfully. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor with the kitchen, a mid level family room and office and then two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the top floor which overlook the old cobblestone mew street (spectacular!)

Each couple had their own room and bathroom which were very private and clean. Robert was incredible throughout the process, quickly answering my many questions and being flexible with our payment process!!

There is a very fun pub just at the end of the street (not even a minute walk away) that had amazing drinks and food. There wasn't even a concern about noise because the house is tucked back on the other side of the street just enough distance away from the main road where you don't hear any traffic or anything. It was a very easy walk to the Warwick station (less than 5-10 minutes) and the tube into town only took about 10-15 minutes (depending on where you are getting off).

Robert provided a welcome food basket with the essentials (milk, bread, cereal, wine) so that after our flight there, we didn't have to worry about grocery shopping. Shampoo and soap were also provided for with fresh towels and linens. The beds were big and very comfortable and the house was just spectacular! I truly hope we will be back to visit London in the future and if we do, we will most definitely be seeking our lodging here again (if available)!!! :) Thank you again Robert for a fantastic place to stay on our family trip!

Lovely Place to Stay with Family

We rented this gorgeous home to take our two sons to see London for the school break. The accommodation was excellent -- the owners think of everything! We were very appreciative of the breakfast supplies left for us in the kitchen, and the beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom shower was a treat after the long flight from the US. Best of all -- the house is in a great location, just a quick walk to the Tube (20 min to all the sights) and fabulous local restaurants. If you go, be sure to try The Waterfront restaurant down by the canal.

The mews house in Little Venice is 10 minutes from Paddington Station set in a leafy quiet cobbled London street and close to the canals that date back over 300 years. There are numerous restaurants, a theatre and many unique pubs, all within walking distance; the street has won many awards. The property boasts every amenity, from a fully equipped eat in kitchen, garage, Satellite TV, DVD player and internet connection. The office/library and TV/family area will satisfy your business and entertainment needs. Facing south all rooms are light and airy and provide a very comfortable setting to relax from shopping or for simply enjoying a quiet cup of afternoon tea; on a sunny day tea can be had outside around an outside table and chairs. There are three sun filled bedrooms; the main double bedroom has an en suite bathrooms and the two other twin rooms have their own facilities although not en suite.   • The property lies in a a very pretty award winning Victorian Mews. The owners have considered everything to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing and exciting, being so close to downtown London. There is an underground station within 200 metres and a bus stop within 100 metres, both of which cross the very central part of London some 10 minutes to 15 minutes away. Local restaurants, a theatre, and the canals add to the experience. All guests are welcomed with a starter pack of necessary groceries and a bottle of wine. A full Manual is available on arrival explaining how everything works, what to do in emergency and recommended things to see, do and eat at.
