Great Experience, Home Away From Home

My friends have been visiting from another country, and they wanted to stay somewhere in Pasadena that didn't feel like a hotel. I live here in LA, but my place is too small to host a couple and their baby. First of all, the location cannot be beat. We are about a 5 minute drive from Trader Joe's, Target, Whole Foods, Ralph's, Old Town Pasadena...pretty much anything we could need is very close by. There are also a lot of parks, which has been great for my friends' little 10-month old baby. This adorable condo was a hit from the moment we walked in. The pictures are pretty accurate, and we loved the decor. The manager laundered the carpets, bedding, cleaned the place from top to bottom, and even provided us with brand new towels. It felt much cleaner and homier than any hotel would've been, and at a lower price too. The unit is on the first floor, so you can walk out the back door and go right to the pool/spa/bbq/laundry room with ease. It kind of felt like we had a gigantic backyard and made the place feel more spacious. The manager Sheena is very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any requests we made. When we first got there, we found it a bit bright in the mornings, and she immediately came and installed blackout curtains. The baby didn't like the carpet in the living room, so she picked it up. Basically, she took care of our needs and respected our wishes, always the same day or by the next day. (Don't take advantage of her though... be reasonable with your requests. As landlords/managers go, she's very nice!) When my friends come back to visit, we'd definitely try to book this property again, if it's available (apparently it's pretty popular). It's a quiet community, the neighbors are nice, and the grounds feel very safe. It's been a great little home away from home, and I'm a little sad to leave! I'm actually keeping this community on my radar to see if anything comes on the market, because I'd be interested in purchasing a condo here for myself :)
