Spacious modern apartment high above the city streets offering very comfortable accommodation for up to four people. The standard is high with excellent thermal and sound insulation. It is furnished and equipped to a high standard as a ‘home away from home’, ideal for a few days or longer stay for business or pleasure.

The open plan living/dining room has a well-equipped kitchen area and several large windows giving panoramic views of central Bristol. Balcony where you can enjoy the evening sun and watch the world go by below.

Main bedroom with large double bed and ensuite shower room. Second bedroom with single bed / sofa and pull out extra bed with quality mattress usable as twin beds or as a double bed. Additional extra mattress suitable for a child. Cot available. Second bedroom can also be used as a study.

Well-equipped kitchen with professional quality cookware and plenty of crockery and cutlery.

Large and extendible dining table to seat 6.

We enjoyed a 7 day family (3 adults) holiday in Bristol, staying in this clean, well appointed 2 bedroom apartment in the center of Bristol. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed for a completely relaxed vacation. It's central location within easy walking distance to many good restaurants, shopping areas, and major transportation terminals made getting around Bristol easy and hassle free. Gordon, the owner, provided independent access and very useful information for our stay in the apartment as well as for exploring Bristol, Bath, and the surrounding areas. We give this apartment high marks in every category.

Excellent apartment, great location

Immaculate, well equipped, comfortable apartment.

In great location for exploring Bristol by foot, and convenient for buses and rail when traveling further.

Will definitely be returning and will recommend to friends. I found this far better than staying in a hotel.

There is a lot to see and do in Bristol, and this is a brilliant base for doing that.

Perfect location in City Center!

After a nine hour flight and 2 hour bus trip, we were pleased to find this very comfortable apartment. The check in process was VERY easy, as Gordon had emailed everything we needed to know several days before our arrival. Spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and a great home away from home. The location can't be beat, it is close to just about everything you would like to see. If you want restaurants, harbor side is a great place to look, shopping is close as well if you want to cook, shopping is not far, museums, historic buildings and the list goes on and on. Thank you Gordon for allowing us the privilege of staying in your wonderful apartment. We both look forward to visiting again!

Impeccable apartment in the center of Bristol

We booked quite late but Gordon accommodated us and the booking process was a breeze. Arriving after a 20 hour flight, we were delighted to be ushered into an oasis of calm, warmth and comfort. The flat is very well maintained and furnished to the highest standard. Sainsbury Local and Tesco Express are very close so buying groceries is not a problem. Both are open till 11 pm. St. Nicholas Market with its crafts, exotic food and fresh vegetable juices is only a few minutes walk away. The Broadmead shopping Center is also within walking distance. Bus stops are all close by and the Central Coach station is about 15 minutes walk from the flat. All in all, it was a wonderful family holiday and would definitely stay in this flat again.

One of us was born and educated in Bristol and it's wonderful to see how much central Bristol has evolved into a truly great city in recent years. We chose this apartment for its space and practical layout, and for its central location with almost everything within easy walking distance.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Bristol at 15 Kilometres Nearest Train : Bristol Temple Meads at 2 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : M4 / M5 / M32 at 10 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Bristol has been transformed in recent years into a world-class city with a fascinating fusion of old and modern architecture, waterside amenities, shopping, nightlife and culture. The apartment is right in the city centre with nearly all of Bristol's most famous sights and attractions plus excellent bus and ferry services just a short walk away.

The historic city of Bath is less than 15 minutes by train or 50 minutes by bus almost from the doorstep.

Bristol is also an ideal base for day trips around the West Country and South Wales, with or without a car.
