So Relaxing...Great Owner!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time! Susan was the best! She provided EVERYTHING we needed! The bungalow was very clean and neat! We enjoyed the convenience of walking to John's Pass for dinner several nights during our stay. The beach is a short walk and Susan provided beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc. We didn't need to bring anything other than our clothes. Thanks for the great advice about the use of pedestrian crosswalks while we were out and about! :-)

Great Location. Needs a little TLC

  • 3 of 5

We were looking for an affordable place to stay in the Treasure Island area and I think we found it. The location was fantastic. It was well within walking distance to the beach and the Johns Pass area with plenty of restaurants and shops. Susan was very helpful and willing to help us out when needed. The fenced in backyard was very comfortable , well landscaped and worked well for our dog. There were a few issues inside the condo which could have been better but since we were there for only two weeks, they were minor.

Spotless and Dog friendly!

  • 5 of 5

Susan was so easy to work with! It took us an extra 3 hours to get there with Traffic, so we were happy to see her waiting for us when we arrived. The house had everything we could possibly need. It was completely tiled which is wonderful when you are travelling with 4 Scotties that have big paws. The backyard was nicely manicured and gave the pups a place to run and enjoy themselves after being cooped up in the car for 12 hours. You do share the backyard with the apartment attached to the backyard, so be careful to check if anyone is in the backyard if you have rambunctious puppies like mine to avoid misunderstandings :). I loved the walk-in shower. The house is within walking distance of many great restaurants that have pet-friendly patios. The neighborhood has small quiet streets which are also great for walking your pups. Unfortunately, the beaches nearby are not pet-friendly, but Fort Desoto is about a 30-minute car ride from there. I would definitely go back next Christmas is she'd have us.

Awesome little home

  • 5 of 5

We booked this home and was VERY pleased .... Susan was very helpful with anything we needed. ! We didn't need anything at all .... Its all there.

The home was small but had EVERYTHING you needed utensils, towels, beach towels Chairs and chair beach Cart, Cooler for beach, Washer and dryer (Pay), Car port , Just a few steps to the beach (Across the road ), a Short walk over the bridge and you are in the middle of Johns Pass. The home has a back yard with a sitting area and Jacuzzi. Free WiFi, and cable channels . Very quiet ... Short 3 min walk to Gators bar (on the water)

We cant say enough about this home OR the owner she was awesome ......We will definitely stay again if she will have us.

Thank you Susan for an enjoyable week

Owner's Response: Steve be his wife we're a treat to host! They enjoyed the area, each other, and the bungalow. They were friendly with the other guests and were never too busy to stop and talk. Steve even shared a few tips that I am anxious to try out, thank you again for the knowledge.

We stayed a whole month and loved every day. The owner is nice, helpful and just a phone/text away. We were able to have our 2 dogs with us and the fenced in back yard was perfect. The neighborhood was great for walking the dogs. As for the humans the beach is less than a 2 minute walk across the street. Also several restaunts within walking distance. The bungalow was small but perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. Overall this is a great place to stay.... so great we booked for next year.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your business! I appreciate the detail you included in the review about the area and how close it is to the beach. It's hard to describe just how narrow the island is at the northern end and how short of a walk it is. "2 minute walk" coming from a guest is very helpful to others who aren't familiar with the area. The unit is a one bedroom with a full kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom, carport, sliding glass door opens to the fenced yard. I can imagine with 2 adults and 2 larger dogs it did seem a little small! Looking forward to seeing you again next year...

We had a fun and relaxing February at Alice's BB on Treasure Island

  • 5 of 5

This place is cozy but clean and bright. Susan was very helpful in all regards. We enjoyed having the fenced backyard for our dog. The beach access was about a block away. The beach was heaven! 3 1/2 miles long, so great for walking or just kicking back and watching the waves. John's Pass was a short, easy, scenic walk over a bridge. Lots of fun shops and restaurants with live music. Our son & his fiancee really like Mad Beach microbrewery. Downtown St Petersburg is 20 mins away with lots of great food options, more microbreweries and a great harborside park. We have stayed many places along the Gulf in FL. This was our first time on TI. We will be back.

Owner's Response: Thank you for such a great review. We always had a fence but the bamboo fencing that was installed during your stay has added privacy and improved the appearance of the yard. Now that we're into April, the gardens are coming alive and the Frangie-Pangies are blooming. I'm pleased that you were able to explore Johns Pass, Downtown St. Pete, as well as the Treasure Island beaches from Sunset Park to Sunshine Beach. You really got out and enjoyed the "local scene" as few vacationers do, I love it!

There is a large variety of activities available in the area that are not listed above due to the "within 15 minutes" guideline. Because we are on an island , tourist activity is abundant, and Gulf Blvd is THE ROAD, it's hard to get anywhere in 15 minutes.

Yes, there are many attractions beyond 15 minutes away and some days you can get there in 15 minutes and some days you cannot.

My favorite local activity is the dolphin watch tour while in a speedboat, many of my guests have enjoyed this one as well.

*segway tours, botanical gardens, zoos, conservation areas, hiking trails, rivers, outlet shopping, libraries, playgrounds, waterfalls, wineries, synagogue, movie theaters, etc.

I am able to help with activities planning or provide suggestions and referrals. Rentals: bicycle, kayak, paddleboard, boat

Cruises: dolphin speedboat, dolphin watch, sunset, dining, gambling

Activities: parasail, segway, snorkeling, scuba
