Miraflores Local Area: We are located in the centre of an area rich in Golf Courses, Water Sports, Entertainment and the best all year weather.

La Cala de Mijas Costa is the local village with a twice weekly local market, bars restaurants and beautiful beaches with clean fine soft sand.

There are quaint typically Andalusian villages with narrow cobbled streets, such as Mijas, Benalmadena & Marbella old town to name but a few and located within 15 minutes drive,

The old white walled mountain village of Mijas Pueblo with breathtaking views, bull fighting arena and famous Buros taxis; donkeys are a real family attraction.

Traveling north you can explore Benalmadena, Nerja, Frigilliana, Salobrena & Malaga or south in the direction of Estepona to San Martin del Tesorillo which is inland from Puerto Duquesa & inland from Marbella you'll discover Casseras, Ojen, Monda and Rhonda.

From La Cala in the direction of Alhaurin el Grande you'll come to Cartama; continue left towards Marbella and discover the magnificent National Park and the Lakes at Ardales.

Alternatively you are only two hours drive from the Sierra Nevada Mountains, for winter sport activities, to allow you to enjoy a “Two-Centre Holiday.” Skiing in this region is fantastic with long light days, good challenging pistes & good weather.

Miraflores Further Afield: There is a regular bus service to Estepona, Marbella and Puerto Banus these chic areas don’t have to be expensive and have grown into the most famous resort destinations in the world. In the other direction the bus operates a service to Fuengirola where trains operate to the Malaga airport which is just 30 km away by car.

This coastline having several famous yacht harbours & up market shops along with elegant nightclubs and restaurants you can really enjoy and provide you the best variety that tourism in the Costa del Sol can offer.

There are also many pleasing cafes and beach bar restaurants, reasonably priced and varied shops hidden in little winding streets at the heart of the old town of Marbella, so you wont miss out.

We have personally spent our holidays in Miraflores for the last 22 years and consider it a perfect location for sight seeing and spending quality time on family holidays.

Our property is situated on the popular micro-community of Jardin B, Block VIII within the original Miraflores Urbanisation, which is only 25 minutes from Malaga airport by car. It is a ground floor apartment and offers the added benefit of direct access to the most beautiful, tropical secure gardens, allowing you to relax and enjoy watching your children play whilst sitting on the terrace or even preparing a meal.

The apartment has been completely refurbished to a high standard and offers very comfortable surroundings, Wi-FI, air conditioning and heating and is very well equip for all your holiday needs.

It is within 3 minutes walk to Jardin B swimming pools and pool bar, 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach and wonderful board walk, 10 minutes walk to the bus stop allowing you to get to Fuengirola and Malaga in one direction or Marbella and Puerto Banus in the other and for only a little over €1.

Finally it is within 10 minutes walking distance for a wide selection of excellent restaurants and shops.

  • The bathroom has recently been updated and is bright and airy and offers a relaxing atmosphere. It is fully tiled and includes a full size bath with shower above with a glass shower screen, new high gloss white vanity unit with large ceramic wash hand basin, mono tap with plenty of storage space below. The bathroom also has two large mirrors, a heater and toilet. There is also a washing machine located within the bathroom area for your convenience.

One bedroom overlooks the beautiful gardens, it is fully furnished with king size bed, fitted wardrobes with mirrored doors incorporating plenty of storage space and additionally a further six drawer chest unit, a hairdryer and LED TV are also provided in this room for your comfort. The twin bedded room to the front of the apartment also provides fitted wardrobes with mirrored doors and a further six drawer chest unit. This room can also accommodate a cot or third single futon sofa bed (each available upon request), thus increasing capacity for sleeping to 7 people. Adjacent to both rooms is a fully tiled bathroom with a toilet.

Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the apartment and included in the price. Just two minutes walk from the apartment you enter the continuing mass of beautiful gardens and the entrance to the “Jardin B” communal pool, considered one of the best pools available within the Miraflores 5 Star Resort. With a large swimming pool and separate baby pool together with free sun loungers, weave basket umbrellas, with beautiful lawns and planting, this area is just ideal for families and couples alike. There is also a small friendly Spanish run bar serving drinks and light meals during the day, with plenty of shaded seating or seating on the terrace for those who wish to soak up the sun all day. It has a very friendly atmosphere and is frequented by owners and visitors to Miraflores. We have a resident key holder within 10 minutes of the apartment who you can call upon if you have any urgent problems or need local information or assistance during your stay.

Great apartment in a superb location

In September/October 2016 we stayed for 3 weeks, a superb location, within walking distance of the beach as well as some shops and restaurants.

The apartment is very well equipped, there is a covered patio area which is great if you want some time out of the sun during the day, or for relaxing in the evening, some of the sunsets were absolutely beautiful. It is also great for eating al fresco, as there is a dining table and chairs and a barbecue.

The pool and bar are about a 3 minute walk away with more than enough sunbeds available which use the supermarket trolley coin system, which hopefully means they are put back when you have finished using them, a great idea. Very friendly staff at the bar, great for a nice cool beer and/or a snack.

The location is great, just a 5 minute drive from La Cala where there are loads of restaurants, good parking and easy access to the beach. Marbella and Malaga are about the same distance, a 20 minute drive, if you want some more shops and restaurants, although there are so many along the road in either direction.

Contact with Val the owner was really good, we received an extremely comprehensive email which included very clear directions to the villa. Christine the owners’ local representative was also great to deal with, very knowledgeable and helpful.

We understand that improvements to the apartment are planned over the winter, we certainly hope to be able to stay again in the future.

wonderful property

This venue is excellent. I have stayed in this area on numerous occasions and this is up there at the top. WI-FI for the children, TV for me and lovely Sun in the afternoon. Appt had everything we wanted and was soon a home from home.

A nice apartment with everything you need inc a welcome pack, groundfloor terrace and front garden. All amenities witihin a 15 min walk, very nice beach nearby and Jardin b swimming pool was very welcoming with the local residents very friendly. Would stay again (2 adults & 2 children)

Lovely comfortable apartment

Very comfortable, quiet place to stay. The main sound is the bird song! Even so, it is close to the main road and amenities. We enjoyed our stay very much and our hosts were extremely helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Nice apartment

Had a lovely time in this cosy apartment, we have stayed on the miraflores complex quite a few times and this compares favourably with other apartments. All amenities are fairly close but I would recommend hiring a car so you can see all that the costa del sol has to offer, special mention to Christine for her help in settling in, would not hesitate to reccomend.

And also for your recommendation to hire a car to see ALL that the Costa Del Sol has to offer. Fortunately we do have a good bus service which provides convenient and easy access towards Fuengirola Marbella and Puerto Banus but definietly if you want to explore further inland then a car is a good idea. And finally your mention of Christine, who we know does a very good job on our behalf.

We stayed in the property earlier this year in April and were so pleased we have been again: that's the perfect recommendation. Surrounding gardens and pool are the hallmark of the Miraflores site. Antonio's beach bar/restaurant is very good and not too expensive. The owners are diligent, maintaining high standards of furniture and fittings. Keyholder Christine does a great job too.
