3 bedroom beach bungalow to sleep 4/5
A bungalow built around railway carriage right on the beach with glorious sea views. Ideal location for Goodwood.
Front and rear garden. Private parking, garage.
Quirky accommodation. The main bedroom is reached via the second bedroom. There is a small box room suitable for a child or a height challenged person. (There is headroom but not long enough for a full length bed.)
Living room, kitchen/diner. Shower room (no bath).
Ideal for a couple or a couple with children or just good friends. Crockery and utensils are provided but please bring your own towels.
Pagham beach is a mecca for windsurfing kite surfing and sailing.
A great place for relaxing and exploring the area. The nearby South Downs is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bring your mountain bike and ride the trails.
The cathedral city of Chichester is 7 miles away.
Good base for Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Goodwood races and even Goodwood Golf Club.

In real need of some TLC
We had a lovely week, the location was superb with direct access onto the beach from the back garden. We were very lucky with the weather. The price reflects what the accommodation is like, so if you go not expecting anything other than just about adequate you will be fine, it has all the basics you need and children of the ages my grandchildren were you do not notice these things, but really without some serious updating, which will then no doubt add to the rental cost, I doubt that we would go back. There are plug in fresheners in all rooms and above cupboards, and a 'drainy' smell when I had to unplug them as I really don't like air fresheners.
There is a building project going on in the plot next door, but there was no problem with that.
The owner was quick to respond to e.mails during the booking process with good customer service.
Excellent location ,Very clean and quirky Accomodation.
We all had a very enjoyable stay, the Carriage is ideally located , great for kids being on the beach.Local shops ect very handy......The only disappointment is the gardens , needs a good tidy up, as would make it more welcoming on arrival for guests. But overall well pleased.
Charming, quirky & fun
We loved the property. It was as described, right on the beach, well equipped, clean and welcoming. Maybe a bit of TLC needed in terms of outside decoration, but definitely worth the price. Great walks, excellant fish & chips - be nice if renting the property included membership of the beach clubhouse.
beach side holiday
We had a great time in this cute little converted railway carriage. It was basic but had everything you needed. It was clean, warm and had real character. A relaxing break on the beach front. Will return with my Grandchildren. The front of the home is a little scruffy at first sight but once inside it is cute and quirky
property was clean and the location was excellent, but disappointed with the property. I would recommend some updating, new fridge, the security of the property front doors was poor and the gardens need to be better maintained. would not recommend to anyone
Quirky cosy property with direct beach access
Great quirky property with all the amenities you could need. Lovely views from the sitting room through patio doors, making the room light and lovely to sit in. The railway carriage features make the cottage wonderfully different. Great location for visiting Goodwood and local attractions. Thanks for the lovely stay!
