Porto De Mós overlooks the 1.5 km white sand beach of Porto De Mós which is amongst one of the most sought after areas in the Algarve.

This villa boasts exceptional specification overlooking the beach & the ocean, dolphins can frequently be seen crossing the bay from the veranda.

The bustling center of nearby Lagos is only 3 km drive and offers countless attractive restaurants, high quality shopping and a vibrant night life with clubs and bars to suit all tastes.

Porto De Mos is ideally situated to take advantage of the western Algarve's exceptional golf courses and facilities as well as other outdoor activities including surfing and fishing with sea fishing trips leaving from Lagos marina several times a day.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to two quality restaurants & a further Michelin guide restaurant; all within a few minutes walk of the development.

The villa is totally walled in providing good security, there is a good sized swimming pool set in gardens with outside shower, ample non slip terracing with sun beds, large balcony with dining table & chairs with views down to the beach and out to the ocean. The beach is approx. a 3-4 minute walk away.

The beach offers first class facilities and is popular with the local and visiting Portuguese and it is home to many quality beach restaurants , all within a few minutes walk of the development

Having lived in Portugal most of my adult life & loving this part of the Algarve, especially Lagos, Porto de Mós was the obvious choice as it still retains its typical Portuguese charm and as this is where I live it seemed the right choice to provide high quality holidays right here

Luxury 5 double bedroom Villa located almost on Porto de Mós beach, Lagos' 2nd largest beach with over 1,5 kms of wind protected white sand. Furnished & equipped to an extremely high standard with spacious alfresco dining verandas overlooking the beach & ocean, ideal in the warm summer evenings. Large swimming pool with outside shower. This property has ample sun loungers & outdoor dining areas. 4 fine restaurants are within a 3-10 minute walk of the villa, 2 are situated on the beach. The view pictures are as you would find them & dolphins are frequently seen from the veranada especially in low & mid seasons when there is less coastal activity

Lovely property and area, easy access to the beach, and great for commuting to and from town!

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped.

Superb villa in an ideal location on the Algarve

This beautiful, spacious villa overlooking the sea at Porto de Mos is a perfect central location for visiting the rest of the Algarve.

The villa is very clean, well maintained and has wonderful views of the beach and ocean which are a short walk away. There are two pretty good restaurants at the beach that are worth a visit and there is a bus stop right at the beach where you can get a ride into Lagos if you do not want to drive.

There was some construction occurring on the villa next door on some mornings but we did not notice it much and it was not something that the owners of this villa have any control or responsibility for.

The contacts we had for the villa were always very responsive and helpful, I would definitely recommend this property and we would book it it for any future trips we have in this area of Portugal.

An absolutely superb villa for our large family

12 of our family visited in August 2016 - 2 sisters with husbands and seven children between them plus dad/granddad and stayed for 2 weeks.

Everything was perfect on arrival - in lovely condition - and it was very well equipped in the kitchen and everywhere else - including the Games Room where we had table tennis and pool tables. We had booked an extra bed to give us some flexibility in the sleeping arrangements.

The sea view from the veranda was stunning - with sun every day - it was a 5 minute walk down to the beach. That was when you could drag all of us away from the villa pool which was a major attraction for all of us!

On the middle Saturday a cleaner and a gardener arrived and between them changed all the bedding and cleaned the pool and tidied up the garden.

I personally had that photo of the glass of Red Wine in the photos promoting the villa in my head since we booked almost a year earlier - and that is where my glass sat for our visit!

There are two very good restaurants down by the beach and we booked all 12 of us in for a meal for one of the children's birthdays and also on our last evening before returning to a very wet Manchester!!

As the write-up says a car is recommended. One part of our family hired a car at the airport and it came in very handy for shopping and also for taking the bags of rubbish to the local disposal point in addition to a few days out. The other 8 of us used VIP Chauffeurs to take us from Lagos airport and back and we can fully recommend them.

We could not fault this villa and indeed fully recommend it and hope to go again one day!!

Went with my entire family (10 of us) and had one of our best holidays ever!

The villa was almost perfect, very high standard, great location (the view is breathe taking) and very comfortable. It was only let down by the building work going on next door and to be honest we would have liked prior notification, so if you like a lie in be careful to take ear plugs. The cleanliness was very high although it was a surprise that washing towels attracted an additional charge but don't worry the washing machine works well, from my point of view after paying a few thousand pound you'd think it would be included. WIFI isn't good. John the owner kept his distance and the deposit was paid back swiftly. The only suggestion I'd make is include the thrills in the price John because it is a bit tight, you have almost as long as BMW options list, and a few extra quid on the upfront villa cost won't put us off when we see what we're getting but having to pay for washing towels and heating the pool etc isn't good 👍

So Lagos is lovely and to be fair what we saw if Portugal so is the country. People, food, prices, cleanliness, weather, things to do, beaches, sites etc were all 10 out of 10. We used the villas kitchen a lot but when we went out never paid more than 25 euros a head including drink! If you hate beggars and sellers this is a prefect place, didn't see one!

We will be going back to Portugal!

This luxury villa is located on & overlooking the beach of Porto de Mós and within a short distance of Lagos town centre, there are 2 restaurants on Porto de Mós beach and a further 2 within easy walking distance plus numerous cafés & restaurants around Lagos. International supermarkets are within a 5 minute drive as is Boa Vista golf course. Porto de Mós caters for scenic walks along the cliff tops to the nearby village of Luz. The beach is wind protected and at low tide there are many small rock pools ideal for children. Kayaking, boating & surfing is available on the beach & trips are all day from Lagos Marina & boulevard. This villa sleeps 12 people (extra beds & cots are also availalable if needed)

Other Activities: Surf, Kite Suft, Scuba, Water ski, Jet Bike

Golf: Penina, Boa Vista, Parque da Floresta, Palmares are all within 5-15mins of the villa, Oceanico Courses are 30-45mins away
