082 - Island Splash is a fabulous 5 bedroom home was designed to accommodate groups up to 12 in comfort! With lots of room to spread out, enjoy 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, two living rooms and a nice pool area.

This home comes equipped with two great 4 passenger golf carts and is conveniently located walking distance to the marina club.

This lovely home has lots of seating and a large gourmet kitchen, a kitchen near the pool with second large fridge and a game room. Island Splash is only a few blocks to the beaches!

Remote and undiscovered, North Captiva Island is accessible only by ferry, private boat or small plane. This private island community is reminiscent of old Florida as it once was during a simpler time.
Just 3 miles offshore, this tropical paradise is part of the Lee Island Coast barrier island chain in South West Florida. Nearest airport to fly to would be in Fort Myers, Fl. Travel by golf cart or bicycle on our sandy native trails. Here, you will find no cars, no crowds or paved roads. North Captiva Island offers a small town impression with just enough amenities to suite your family needs. Guest would have access to our club pools, hot tub, bikes, kayaks, half basketball court, and beach chairs. Bachelorette Party Fun!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to the island several times and this was my first time staying at Island Splash. Rented through NCIC and had such a great experience! We had rented through them before and service was just so/so. This time they were fantastic. You can text them whatever you need and someone responds almost immediately. Very pleased. The home was nice, furnishings were dated, bathrooms need to be updated, but its an island house. Coffee pot is VERY small! We had 5 girls and had to make several pots a day. New patio furniture was delivered but not put out until the day before we left. Overall, great trip. Home is large enough for 2 families.

Island break

Got a little confused on check in. Checked in at welcome center. Didn’t know we needed to check in on the island. Guess we probably should have. Great island experience. 1 golf cart charger didn’t work, 1 golf cart would hold a charge. Other wise pretty much as advertised

Great space, but not kept up

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: North Captiva was amazing. Our stay at the Island splash was just ok. The space itself is great. Nice and big, great layout and easily supported 8 guests (4 adults, 4 children). It is also in a great location. The problem with the space is that it is very outdated. The furniture is old, the beds a cheap, and the pool furniture was nearly unusable. Every pool chair was either ripped or rusted through. The kitchen was terribly stocked. Glassware especially. The coffee pot is the smallest coffee pot I have ever seen. In fact, they are bigger in a hotel room and for a house that sleeps 12+ it is unacceptable. There are 4 beach chairs that are in terrible shape and rusted and they have very few beach towels. The trash was not picked up and the animals had ripped it out and dragged it everywhere and it took them 3 days to come to clean it up. The staff ad NCIC were great, but there are some things that the owner is responsible for that need work. I normally don't write reviews like this but for $1000 a night, you would expect differently.

Family Vacation at Island Splash

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Island Splash provided a wonderful residence for a multigenerational family vacation. Three floors of living with multiple covered and open air decks provided space for multiple activities. The onsite pool was perfect for young swimmers working on new skills. Island Splash's location was close enough to walk and or drive to the beach and or Mango's for snacks/food/tennis and or kayaking equipment. The property was clean and the amenities were comfortable. The property management company were very professional and attentive to our requests with additional special attention for the needs of two infants.

Basic Accommodations Only - Not Worth the High Price

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall experience was average. I have rented many homes for vacations and this home is one of the least desirable. we were forced to rent this house as two others that were rented earlier canceled their reservation on us. The condition for the price paid was subpar. The place is tired, old sheets, kitchen equipment was terrible. Had a 4 cup coffee maker for a 5 bedroom house. The overall condition was dirty, really dirty, with cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Paying a $400 cleaning fee is ridiculous for the condition of the home. The outside furniture was filthy, grill filthy, beach chairs rotted through, golf carts were terrible, rusty, barely held a charge, etc. The refrigerator in the kitchen had a hard time keeping items cold. Need I go on? This house needs a complete update and deep cleaning.
