2 Bedroom Traditional Cottage Close To Village And Beaches

A rare opportunity to stay in a detached 17th century traditional Welsh cottage in the village of Abersoch.

with thick stone walls and slate roof the cottage stands in its own south facing garden and the gravelled driveway provides ample off road parking for cars and boats.

The accommodation comprises ground floor with living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom with double bed and conservatory. upstairs there is a crogloft with two single beds.the access to the crogloft is a steep open plan staircase.

The kitchen has been refitted and includes a full gas cooker fridge freezer washing machine and microwave.

Fully refurbished the bathroom provides a full size bath, basin, wc and shower above the bath.

the cottage includes a television, DVD player and mini Hi-Fi.

The conservatory includes patio furniture which provides a very popular alternative living and dining space.

being south facing the cottage is very light and the conservatory is often very warm. The cottage is available for family bookings only.

Please note that the staircase to the crogloft bedroom, being steep and narrow, is not suitable for the very young nor for elderly or infirm adults.

The conservatory also provides a very convenient level access into the cottage right alongside the parking area.

In the Spring and summer the front of the cottage is festooned with rambler roses.

Ceiriad Bach is a traditional Welsh cottage with thick stone walls and a slate roof.It is one of the oldest cottages in Abersoch village. We have retained as many of the original features as possible whilst making the cottage comfortable for everyday living.

The cottage stands on the edge of Abersoch village about a ten minute walk from the shops and a leisurely fifteen minute walk to extensive sandy beaches.

The location of the cottage makes it an ideal base to enjoy the sailing, fishing, walking and swimming which are all available along the adjacent coastline.

Snowdonia National Park is within easy driving distance and the area also has a host of castle and other visitor attractions including the Italianate village of Portmeirion and the Festiniog railway. The RSPB osprey project is also within easy reach

Idyllic cottage.

  • 5 of 5

This was a last minute break my son booked for me so I didn't anticipate too much. Just needed a break. This cottage is idyllic! Complete with roses around the door. Lovely safe garden that my dogs enjoyed. Everything spotless. Pleasure to keep clean. Loved it so much I wanted to book again immediately. John Booth professional, helpful and approachable.

Thank you so much! Definitely be back!

Hells Mouth beach at sunset is beautiful, and dog friendly.

Great little cottage

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful quirky cottage in Abersoch. Cottage had everything we needed for our weeks holiday. 5 minutes walk to the beach and centre of Abersoch is perfect. Would definately book again. John sent all information through when needed and kept in contact before we arrived. Just a brilliant week for my family.

Great Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely little cottage on the outskirts of Abersoch, an ideal location if you want to walk to all of the pubs and restaurants, but don't want to be in the thick of it. The cottage is small but perfectly formed. The kids loved the crog loft which they quickly turned into their den (I would say it is not suitable for toddlers as the steps are steep). The enclosed front garden is a bonus, and a great space for the kids to play whilst you enjoy sitting in the sun. The owner was great to deal with. We have no complaints at all.

Quaint little cottage in Abersoch

  • 4 of 5

We are a family of 4 with a small dog and stayed in this lovely little cottage for a week over Easter. The garden was perfect for our dog as it was fully enclosed with lots of room to run around. Although very small, the cottage provided all the accomodation we needed and we felt very at home by the end of the week. It is in a lovely spot just on the outskirts of Abersoch and was just 10 minutes walk to the centre. We will definitely be back at some point next year!

Location

From the Owner

Ceiriad Bach is one of the few remaining old welsh cottages in the village. The layout is traditional and includes a crogloft bedroom in the roofspace which is very popular with children and adults alike. South facing it enjoys the sun for much of the day-yet it's thick stone walls help to regulate the temperature inside. It is essentially a cosy family cottage and has provided many families with an enjoyable seaside holiday. This is reflected in the many complimentary reviews which we have received over the years.Several of our visiting families have returned to the cottage year after year.
