About John Booth

The cottage has been owned by our family for more than forty years.

John Booth purchased this cottage in 1970

Why John Booth chose Lleyn Peninsula

Ceiriad Bach is one of the few remaining old welsh cottages in the village. The layout is traditional and includes a crogloft bedroom in the roofspace which is very popular with children and adults alike.

South facing it enjoys the sun for much of the day-yet it's thick stone walls help to regulate the temperature inside.

It is essentially a cosy family cottage and has provided many families with an enjoyable seaside holiday. This is reflected in the many complimentary reviews which we have received over the years.Several of our visiting families have returned to the cottage year after year.

What makes this cottage unique

Ceiriad Bach is unusual in being a detached country cottage and garden within easy walking distance of the village shops, hotels, restaurants and other facilities, also several beaches, the harbour, golf course and the Welsh coastal path.Indeed many of our visitors are able to have an action packed holiday whilst leaving the car parked on the driveway.

This range of facilities ensures that there are activities of interest to all ages within close proximity to the cottage.

Good value well located

  • 4 of 5

Lovely garden tight drive but we followed their advice about the gate and it helped. Kitchen and bathroom compact but modern and well equipped. The conservatory made a good addition to the space and was light and bright where the main room and bedroom were quite traditional . Good value and well located.

Quaint cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

We have returned to this cottage as it is perfect for us. It is a lovely walk into the centre of Abersoch and the enclosed garden is an ideal space for the kids to have a run around. The property was clean on arrival and the owner (John) is a pleasure to deal with - I have no doubt that we will be back!

Idyllic cottage.

  • 5 of 5

This was a last minute break my son booked for me so I didn't anticipate too much. Just needed a break. This cottage is idyllic! Complete with roses around the door. Lovely safe garden that my dogs enjoyed. Everything spotless. Pleasure to keep clean. Loved it so much I wanted to book again immediately. John Booth professional, helpful and approachable.

Thank you so much! Definitely be back!

Hells Mouth beach at sunset is beautiful, and dog friendly.
