This beautiful house has just been renovated to a luxury standard with state of the art, air conditioning in all the rooms, home cinema, 40' plasma screen and satellite tv. It has a swimming pool, stunning south facing views across almond groves, and is situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Campanet right in the heart of the most rustic, peaceful countryside. Campenet, Mallorca, authentic Spain, friendly locals, good food, at the local Bar Es Club. This property offered so much more then you can see from photos. We stayed for two relaxing weeks at the end of September / early October and woild love to go back next year.

Beautifully restored a few years ago, by the interior designer owner, this casa is both stylish and tastefully furnished. Having negotiated the narrow turning off the one way street, the first impression gives no idea of what is in store behind the rustic front doors.

Once inside, the property boasts three terraces all on different levels, with uninterupted south views over the neighbouring fields that are home to almond trees and a handfull of friendly sheep.

If you are looking for total seclusion in the Mallorcan sunshine with your own pool, and like the sounds of the countryside with a distant chiming church clock, yet only a ten minute stroll from the bakers, the bar and the supermarket, this is the place for you.

Beware the dogs!

  • 3 of 5

Charmingly decorated in a rustic style. Very limited wardrobe space apart from the top bedroom. It is end of terrace so beware the neighbours. 6.30/7am wake up yapping dog as he goes out to work, then quietens down for the most part. The neighbourhood dogs, of which there are many, bark between 9-11am and 6-7 constantly so although the goat bells tinkling are very relaxing, the barking is not. A real shame as otherwise it is a great position near enough to walk to local village square, small supermarket and one of the best restaurants locally, Sa Tercera. There is also no visitor book with any helpful recommendations nor a welcome pack with even a pint of milk.

A beautiful, comfortable villa in a friendly, small town.

  • 4 of 5

4 of us stayed in this beautiful villa in July 2016 and had a wonderful time. Lukas met us at the villa and showed us how everything worked and where everything was. The villa is equipped with everything you could want, and the satellite TV had a wide choice of channels. The decor is impeccable and the pool, although chilly even on days of 30 degree heat was a real luxury. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom feel a little precarious as there are no bannisters on the outer side, and as they are polished, painted white they require concentration if you're getting on in years. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom are best and easily accessible if you're less mobile than others.

There is air con in every room but the villa is pretty cool even without it. The villa is at the end of a small terrace of houses and looks out onto a field with a few goats and sheep. If you're in the upstairs front bedroom expect to hear the 'clank' of their bells into the night, peppered with the bark of local dogs and the cockerels at around 6am. It is a rural setting, and is better for it but if you're not used to it or are a light sleeper then earplugs might be a good idea.

The access to the villa is tight, as the owners rightly say. We arrived in a Golf Estate and it only just got around the tight turn into the access to the villa - we then swapped the car for a standard Golf and this was fine. The roads in the village are also narrow so a larger car has problems here and all over the island.

The village is very friendly and the 5 minute stroll up to the town square where there are 4 bars/restaurants is a pleasure. The square is safe for kids to run around in in full view of parents. We found the food in the cafe directly opposite the church was the best. There are 2 small supermarkets that sell all you need and a local bakery and newspaper shop with UK papers if you need them.

Thanks for a great stay, we would return tomorrow.

Amazing & Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely beautiful villa, beautifully decorated real wow factor when you step inside and exactly like the photos. The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped has everything you need and more. We were met by Lukas who showed us round, very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable of the local area.

Campanet town is a real working town all local people, we were lucky enough to be in Campanet when it was festival week an amazing experience. The square is a 5 minute walk, two supermarkets, lovely patisserie, lovely café great coffee, Bar Es Club is one of the main restaurant and bar can highly recommend the Paella so good we had it twice.

Pollenca is a short drive and a beautiful little town with many old buildings, the Calvari Steps all 365 of them leading from the central square up to a tiny church, called the Calvario Chapel is well worth a visit. We also visited Cala Santanyi a beautiful cove with a lovely beach and even did a spot of cliff diving. Cala Feguera also in the same location is known as little Venice a must see and well worth the hour drive from Campanet

Peaceful location, very restful relaxing by the pool pure luxury, I would highly recommend this property and town.

Little slice of heaven in a almond grove!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, tranquil little house on the outskirts of typical Spanish town (5min stagger) with a selection of good, basic value for money restaurants (great bakery when they're open). There's a very good supermarket with fresh veg, bread & meat and a great wine cellar & snack room. Pollenca 15min drive & we found the parking easy. Sunday farmers market worthwhile. The house was spotless, the beds comfortable with good linen, a/c was very welcome but the quiet & peace outside is what makes this special, the only sound being from the gentle tinkle of sheep bells. I plucked fresh plums, lemon & limes from the over hanging branches and spent days drifting in the secluded pool. I fell in love with the sheep, even got a few kisses from flirty Gertie but she never writes, never calls ......

An amazing house

  • 5 of 5

We were delighted with our choice of this property in Campanet. From the outside it looks very rustic and small, but once through the doors it opens up into the most beautifully kept and well designed house. It is just as the photographs show and was so spotlessly clean we couldn't believe it. It had everything we needed, and more, to ensure we had the most amazing holiday.

We were met at the house by Lukas who showed us around and explained everything to us, he is very pleasant and helpful. We didn't need to get in touch with him at all throughout our stay as everything was fine.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing a peaceful and relaxed holiday. We loved hearing the noises of the countryside and enjoyed our daily visits from the friendly sheep.

Campanet has enough in it that you really don't have to go far, however, we did most of our shopping in Pollenca which is a short drive away and where there is a Lidl and Eroski

Parking was the most tricky part as there isn't a hugh space to turn. We had hired a relatively small car, but had been upgraded to a bigger one. The small one would have been easier, but in saying that we were never stuck, and it certainly wouldn't put us off. We look forward to returning soon.

Activity and Interests

There is a 15 min drive to the beautiful beach of Can Picafort, or the beaches of Alcudia and Pollensa. Also the world famous Pollensa Golf Course, or sightseeing in the Old Town of Pollensa. A half hour drive takes you to Palma with all its shopping and night life. Campanet has its famous underground caves which are worth a visit. This is an incredible area for walkers as well.
