This spacious waterfront apartment is directly on the coast, with magnificent, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean, the Albir headlands, the Bahia de Altea and beyond to Benidorm. Enjoy alfresco dining, summer or winter, on the large south facing terrace to the sound of the waves hitting the shore while watching the yachts entering and leaving the marina. Or stroll to the pebble beach 20 metres away. 2 minute walk to restaurants, cafés and bars. Furnished throughout to a high standard, to make your holiday special. Free welcome bottle of wine awaits you.

A 25 metre pool is available to residents in a gated area with sunbeds and parasols with a lifeguard in the peak season. Besides the peaceful, pebble beach, beautiful sandy beaches are a 15-20 minute drive away in Calpe or Benidorm, both of which also have many shops, cafes, bars. Many family-oriented & sports activities are easily accessible within a 30 minute drive, including several top rate golf courses. Secure indoor parking

Luis Campomanes Port: Puerto Luis Campomanes is a well established marina with excellent restaurants, cafes, nautical club, diving school, kayaking, beach and many other activities and facilities. A small cafe with bakery is located in the port itself and a supermarket is within 1km of the apartment. A cash point is available in the port and a bank adjacent to the supermarket.

There is something for everyone around the port - the Disney-style Terra Mitica theme park, Terra Natura, Aqualandia Water Park, and the Mundomar Exotic Animal and Marine Park in Benidorm, Safari Parks at Aitana and Vergel, Waterfalls at Bolulla, Fuentes d'Algar, Caves at Benidoleig and Canalobre. For international shows with dinner the renowned Benidorm Palace and the Casino Mediterráneo at Villajoyosa are not to be missed.

A car is essential to take advantage of all the area has to offer. Car hire is easily available at either Alicante or Valencia airports. Ferries for the Balearics leave Denia daily and this can be a great side trip.

Altea: Because of its privileged location and brightness, ‘a village roasted by the sun’, according to Gabriel Miro, Altea has always attracted many bohemians. Artists, painters, sculptors and writers of many nationalities have been drawn to the town, making their home here and benefiting from the inspiration they receive from its unique setting. They in turn, have contributed to its rich cultural life, and the official title, ‘Cultural Capital of the Valencia Region’, has been bestowed on Altea. The University of Culture and Fine Arts adjacent to the old town now attracts a whole new generation of artists. The picturesque old town with its narrow cobbled streets, surrounding the church topped by its blue and white tiled cupolas, is full of boutiques, artists and craft shops, bars and restaurants ranging from pizzerias to gourmet restaurants. Altea truly remains an unspoilt gem on the Costa Blanca.

Golf: Three top-class 9- and 18-hole golf courses within 20km.

The Don Cayo golf club is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Bernia mountain range, less than 10km from the apartment, within the municipal limits of Altea. With a round of 3,078 metres from the white tees, extremely difficult holes - such as the 5th, a 580 metre par 5, or the 6th, a slightly uphill 227 metre par 3 – alternate with recovery holes which also require accuracy if you want to land the ball on the fairway. Players tend to prefer the 3rd, with its views of the sea, and the 7th from where you can make out the mountains surrounding the Marina Baixa.

Real club de Faula offers two 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses with spectacular views: the Levante Course, an American-style championship course with wide fairways, Par 72 and 6626 metres long; and the Poniente course on the downward incline of a pretty valley, Par 62 and 3858 metres long.

Having vacationed in Altea for many years, I have now chosen Altea as my retirement home, after having lived in various places in Europe and the US throughout my working life.

Why Maria Redondo chose Altea Area

This property appealed to us in particular because of its location. It is only a few metres from the sea, south facing, overlooking a small beach in a peaceful marina, with great wide-open views. The marina has various good restaurants, so its only a few hundred metres to go to dinner in the evening. The apartment itself is spacious, with a good layout, and was just what we needed for our own family holidays for many years. Altea is a much quieter town than either of its neighbours, Calpe and Benidorm, and retains the charm of a local town, even though there are many foreigners who have settled here. Altea enjoys a micro climate with mild weather throughout the year, making it a great place to vacation at any time of the year.

Prachtig 3 slaapkamer appartement zeer goed uitgerust en uitzonderlijk gelegen met een groot terras en geweldig zeezicht.

Zee, strand en haven met restaurants en bars op loopafstand.

Maria staat je met raad en daad bij en geeft alle info welke nodig is.

Wij komen zeker terug.

Its better than the photos

This is a very spacious apartment equipped with everything you would . need. A large balcony with stunning views. Extremely well maintained and very clean. Beach directly in front of apartment and pool directly behind. Had a fabulous holiday. Could not recommend more. Would love to go back...Very happy family of six.

Lovely apartment on the Marina

We have just spent 3 weeks in this wonderful apartment which is clean and spacious.It is next to the sea and on the marina.What a beautiful setting so peaceful and tranquil.Maria was there to greet us and show us round the apartment.She is a lovely kind person who provides all the little touches that make you feel at home.There is secure underground parking and a fabulous supermarket only 3 mins away.Altea is a lovely place with lots of good restaurants and the old town is very quaint.We play golf and there are plenty of course nearby.About 20mins by car.We highly recommend this apartment and had a wonderful holiday there.Pat and Ron

Great place for best holidays!

It was great to meet Maria and to stay at this wonderful apartment! She met us on our arrival and showed everything around and answered all our questions.

She is very friendly and kindhearted person that is why from the very first moment it was clear why this apartment is so cozy and beautiful.

It was our right decision to rent this apartment for holidays.

It has good location near the beach, swimming pool. The apartment is really big and well equipped. There is an air-condition in each room, there was no problem with Internet access and WI-FI. No noises at all, despite the beautiful sound of the sea. The sea view and terrace are great.

You will need a car to get there, and to get around. But it was not really a problem for us, as we rented a car and parked it in the private underground garage.

Nearest supermarket called “Masymas” is in 3 min driving by car, nearest sand beach is in Calp (8 km). There are several restaurants, bars in walking distance. Near the beach you can find some sport activities: yoga, water scooters, kayaks…

We recommend this apartment! It is tranquil place to rest and enjoy!

A winter break we just cannot stop taking!

My wife and I have spent the month of February at this apartment for the past five years. It has always lived up to and beyond its description. It is very spacious and can accommodate six in comfort. We had three guests for a few days this year and there was plenty of room for all. It is very well equipped with modern appliances and lacks for nothing. You will find everything from paper tissues to umbrellas; it feels more like a friend’s home than a rental apartment. An innovation this year was the installation of a router to provide free wifi access – a very thoughtful addition. The owner, Maria, is very friendly and helpful. She always meets us on arrival, provides a guided tour and a selection of provisions to see us over the first night (bottle of wine included!). The view from the large well furnished terrace is slightly west of south and looks straight down the coast to Altea and Albir, with the skyscrapers of Benidorm just visible over the promontory about 15 km away. The marina, the entrance to which the terrace overlooks, is half way between Altea and Calpe – about 5km from each. A car is essential. It is a steep climb from the marina up to the Altea-Calpe road (where there is a supermarket) and there is no bus service between the two towns (in winter at least). There are several restaurants and bars at the marina but most of them are closed until early March. The most economical and fun eating is at Calpe harbour where the fish comes straight off the boats and is a delight. There is plenty of interest in the area, not only in Altea and Calpe but in Albir, Polop, La Nucia, Javea, Guadalest and numerous other small towns and villages. Benidorm has several attractions for the young at heart. There are superb sandy beaches there, as well as at Altea, Calpe and Albir. The beaches adjacent to the marina are mainly pebbles. There is an hourly train service from Altea to Benidorm in one direction and to Calpe and Denia in the other. The inland mountain scenery is dramatic; orange and almond trees everywhere. We would not hesitate to recommend the location to friends. However, one word of caution: access to the apartment is via a spacious interior courtyard (with large swimming pool) and then up a flight of 30 steps. Keep your luggage light!

Changeover is normally on Saturday, but other days may be considered.
Arrival time is normally after 16:30 and departure time is before 11am.
Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed.
A contract specifying all the terms and fees will be sent to guests for signature in order to confirm any reservation.

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rental is due to secure the booking, the remainder to be paid prior to 6 weeks before arrival, along with the security deposit.
A refundable security deposit of 400 euros is required to be paid along with the remainder of the rental fee, to be returned within 2 weeks of departure (less breakage, damage or loss).
Payments to be made by bank transfer.
