Apartment in Venice

The location was very good, being close to the train station but situated down a small turning so therefore fairly quiet. Elena who met us at the apartment was very good and helpful. The lounge is a nice size but the kitchen is lacking some utensils etc and is a bit basic if you intend to do some cooking . The bathroom is a bit tired but functions ok, although we found the shower mixer difficult to control. The bedroom is a good size too but the bed definitely needs some new pillows as they are very lumpy. Only one drawer in the chest of drawers was available as all the others had bedding in them. Overall the apartment was good as a base but requires a few more updates to make it more comfortable.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at Rita’s apartment. Whilst in a very old building the apartment has been fitted out to a high standard. Very clean with all that you need, perfect for a visit to the lovely Venice. Communication with Rita and Giulia (at the apartment)was excellent. Access to the apartment is slightly tricky the first time round, I would add that the entrance to the apartment in Stoportego del Boter is immediately alongside a shop called “CVS”, we managed to walk past the first time, despite the map and instructions from Rita (not Rita’s fault, totally ours). Once we located the apartment it was great. Very clean, good ammenities, nice and private. Excellent location to take the Alilaguna from the Airport to Guglia on the Orange line and the water taxi when you’ve walked enough. There are many good local restaurants that are not to expensive compared to those close to St Mark’s Square or the Rialto Bridge. Thank you Rita, we had a lovely stay.

Great base for enjoying Venice

We love this apartment. It is comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully light and sunny. It is generously proportioned for two people. We think it’s very good value. The same money would only get you a very small hotel room. It’s really peaceful, but two vaporetto stops within a 5 to 10 minute walk make it really convenient for getting about. Directly outside is a daily market and other really good food shops and a couple of small supermarkets which mean you can live as the locals do. Plenty of choice of bars and restaurants nearby. We wouldn’t hesitate to come again or to recommend it to others.

Ottimo soggiorno / Excellent séjour

L'appartamento si adatta perfettamente all'annuncio e si trova in una posizione ideale nel sestiere di Cannaregio. È facile fare la spesa e ci sono molti ristoranti carini nelle vicinanze. Grazie mille a Rita per la sua gentilezza, la sua flessibilità e i suoi preziosi consigli, sia per i ristoranti che per le informazioni sulla vita quotidiana. E 'stato un modo meraviglioso per approfittare di Venezia altrimenti. L'appartement correspond parfaitement à l'annonce et est idéalement situé dans le "sestiere" de Cannaregio. Il est facile de faire ses courses et il y a de nombreux restaurants sympas à proximité. Un grand merci à Rita pour sa gentillesse, sa souplesse et ses précieux conseils, que ce soit pour les restaurants que pour les infos sur la vie quotidienne. Ce fut un merveilleux moyen de profiter de Venise autrement.
