Our well-equipped semi-detached villa has internet / wifi & full air-con, and large areas of sunny and shaded terracing from which you can enjoy the fabulous views in all directions, and especially across to the hills and setting sun in the West. A secure gate leads to a large private pool (8M x 4M, 1.4-1.8M depth) which is for the exclusive use of our villa from 15 April - 31 October. It has its own toilet, shower room and gas barbecue, and attractive lighting to entice you to enjoy an evening dip! Pool heating is INCLUDED in the rental charge 16 Apr -15 July and from 1 September - 31 October. Pool heating is NOT REQUIRED 17 July - 31 August.

Ground floor: large dining /sitting room with lovely views across to the hills, TV with access to UK & Spanish TV & radio stations, DVD player, kitchen + w/m, d/w, m/w and f/freezer, and there is also a downstairs toilet.

Upstairs: three twin bedrooms and family bath/shower room. Two bedrooms have stunning views, one with balcony and the other with en-suite bath/shower room. Free off-road parking and welcome pack on request. Ideal for a long or short stay at any time of the year

Local guides, maps, sightseeing etc: We provide a detailed villa guide together with local sightseeing suggestions to all guests, together with route instructions to enable you to find our villa easily from Malaga airport, and our Spanish- and English-speaking local agent will be delighted to meet you on arrival and show you round.

Local maps and guide books are available in the villa.

Transport: A car is strongly recommended, but we can also recommend reliable taxi services to and from the airport and locally while you are enjoying all the facilities at Alhaurin Golf and our villa.

Golf: Casa Bruja is absolutely the perfect location for a golf-based vacation. The villa is directly opposite the 12th tee of the prestigious and challenging main 18 hole course at Alhaurin Golf (designed by Seve Ballesteros), and there are two other courses on site. Wonderful undisturbed villa with mountain view

We are a family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers from Denmark, we spent 14 wonderful days in Casa Bruja in summer 2009. We like to live where it is calm and away from all the tourism and buisiness, and we got that in Casa Bruja. If you want that you have to have a car.The villa was very clean, everything we needed was in the house, big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms in the house is great when you have teenagers.The decor was very nice. Our teenagers liked that they could bring their laptops. The private pool and the patio was lovely and very cosy in the evening with the poollight and the lamps, we could swim, lie in the sun and be in the shadow. The mountain view was wonderful and the view to the golf course and the lake was also wonderful.The charming town Mijas, is only 7 km. away, you drive on a breathtaking road ower the mountains. If you have a car, you can easily go to the coast. When we spent our holiday in Casa Bruja there was a bit noise from road construction. The owners gave us excellent service and provided us with all the information we nedded before we came to the villa. If we nedded helt we could get in touch with the owners or a local agent. We think that we had an excellent holiday and got good value for the money. We will certainly recommend the villa to our friends and family and we will certainly go back.Thank you Simon and Gisela for a wonderful holiday in Casa Bruja. Wonderful villa with outstanding mountain views

Had a fantastic 2 week stay at Casa Burja, everything was perfect, Sergio took us through everything about the villa when we arrived from the working of the alarm system, the working of the pool heater and free WiFi code, etc. Really felt nothing was to much trouble and had the reassurance of him being available if required as he lived in the next village. To be honest had no problem with anything, all kitchen appliances are almost new so no problem there. The weather was so hot that the pool heater was not required. All bedrooms are air conditioned as well as main live room.

You feel very secure with a security fence at the front of premises and monitored alarm system which I inadvertently managed to activated causing a guard from the monitoring service to come out and make sure we were OK within 10 minutes (I should have phoned to tell them I had activated alarm but due to android update taking place on my phone I couldn't use it) but still reassuring to know that you are safe.

The views from the front terrace of the mountain range and golf course are stunning, because the sun rises at the rear of the property it is very pleasant place to sit and have breakfast in the morning and again in the evening to sit out and watch the sunset.

It is essential to have a car for your stay here is is a 20 minute drive to the coast and a 10 minute drive to Mijas Pueblo with its white washed houses and great range of restaurants which we ate at frequently. Ronda again if also great place to go with decent roads there and takes about an hour to get there, also worth going to is the lake at Ell Chorro which are on your way back from Ronda.

The pool area was brilliant and we all enjoyed the use of the pool everyday, there is a good range of toys and inflatables, with plenty of patio chairs and sun loungers as well, due to it being a sun trap the electric sun shades which are operated by remote control provided a welcome relief from the sun.

Simon, the owner provides comprehensive directions and information pack prior to arrival and is available either by phone of email if you any questions once you have arrived.

To sum up, great villa, fantastic views, no road noise looking forward to booking with Simon to stop here again.

Fantastic

We recently stayed at Casa Bruja for 2 weeks. The villa itself was perfect, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The location overlooking the golf course was beautiful and very peaceful. There was lots of information about the area in the folder in the villa and Mijas didn't disappoint. You are within driving distance of the beach, several waterparks and a large shopping centre. All in all it was perfect, thank you.

Beautiful villa with superb views.

The villa has everything you need- a real home from home. The views are lovely especially watching sunrise & set. So relaxing on the sun terrace- bbq, swim & just chill out.

We had a car & went up to Ronda & Marbella- the mountains scenery was fantastic. Saving for next year- can't wait to go back.

Ab fab

What a fabulous week! Party consisted of Granma (me!), my daughter and her partner, and their two sons of two and half and one and a half. The villa was beautiful with stunning views and equipped with everything imaginable. Moreover for us, it was very child friendly with the pool being gated. Hope to return next year.

Great security and privacy.

Our first and second stay at Casa Bruja was great. We spend 7 days there last year and 14 this year. We are a family of 5 from Ireland. Our three kids 3,6 & 8 loved it too and myself and my wife really love the security the villa has with its monitored alarm. There is a fast response from the monitored alarm which we found out when we accidentally set it off and had security at our door a very short time later.

The villa itself is quiet spacious and clean with full air con that actually works and three bathrooms.

For food we drove mostly to Mijas which has lots and lots of nice restaurants and the views on drive were beautiful.

For great security and privacy Casa Bruja is top notch.

We have enjoyed coming to this area for the last ten years, mainly because the weather is usually wonderful, it's an excellent centre for exploring Andalucia, the local people are very friendly and there are fabulous local beaches and spectacular scenery... and it's directly on a golf course! The property has outstanding views across to the hills and the setting sun.

Casa Bruja is situated directly on the prestigious and challenging Alhaurin Golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros, and reduced green fees can be arranged through the English owners, who will also be delighted to provide tailored information about the local area. Alhaurin Golf is only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes from the friendly, sandy and attractive La Cala beach while the much bigger Fuengirola beach resort is about 30 minutes away. Tennis, walking and horse-riding are available nearby. The area provides many bars, quality restaurants and major shopping centres such as Marbella, while the bustling medieval town of Alhaurin El Grande ('Garden of Allah') is just 3km away. We're also only 6km from the world-famous UNESCO heritage village of Mijas, with its lovely winding streets, super restaurants and magical sea views. The villa is well sited for day trips to Estepona, Malaga, Nerja caves, Ronda, Antequera and Granada's world-famous Alhambra. You can also escape to the very attractive mountains and lakes of El Chorro & Ardales, where part of a Bond film was made.
