Comfortable and relaxing

  • 4 of 5

We loved the upper floor apartment. The views were marvellous. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for us and our grandchildren to relax and get away from each other when we got back from the beach. The welcome pack was a nice touch too!

Great position with sea views and easy to walk along the coast without driving anywhere.

Perfect position on this amazing island. We had beautiful weather and the views from the apartment are superb. A mix up regarding which beds needed making up was quickly resolved. We forgot our towels so Maria kindly arranged for us to have some. The apartment is spacious and having two bathrooms a great advantage.

Just Perfect 💖

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful tranquil little place to come visit. It's a little bit of heaven right from your apartment window. The views are spectacular, breath taking even.

The waters are a lovely clear blue and the sands are really clean and so nice.

We came away in March and although it was cold we still found lots of lovely things to do.

This place is perfect if your like us and you like small walk with the odd stop along the way for lunch or tea. It has cafes/restaurant's right on your doorstep.

If you want to venture out a little bit though then there's the stacks lighthouse, its about a 10minute drive up the road, and it really is a must see.

We also visited Plas cadnent Hidden Gardens which was absolutely beautiful. It has a lovely walk for all people, even if you find it hard to get around its left signposted with different colour dots to follow, so you can decide what route to take really. It also has waterfalls and beautiful trees, little paths that take you further into the gardens. The cafe is really nice too, not too pricey and they have a huge selection of delicious cakes.

The owner of this appartment is a lovely lady, always helpful and quick to reapond if you need help with anything too.

The apartment is so nice, cozy and very clean (home from home) with all you need, and for views of Trearddur Bay I think this one has to be the best hands down, its a true 10/10 and by far the best one that we can see. Its right in the middle, high up so you can literally see everything, right out.

We will definitely be returning again soon, We leave today and we both don't want to go home.

If you book here you wont be disappointed.

Also and finally, it has all the shops you need -Tesco, Wilkinsons, KFC, Poundland and B&M amongst others within a 5minutes drive so its perfect if you need a few bits or you've forgotten anything. After staying in lots of places in Wales in the past this was certainly a huge added bonus, travelling a half hour drive to your local shop in a nightmare and we've had to endure that on several occasions so to have this on our doorstep was fab 👍

Thank You.

Nic & Al xx

TREARDDUR BAY
Car: recommended

These attractive self-contained apartments with sea views are located in the beautiful and popular coastal resort of Trearddur Bay.

The apartments are in an elevated position overlooking the sea only a couple of minutes walk from the nearest rocky beach and Craig-y-Mor, the famous "Safe House" featured in the eponymous ITV crime drama series shown in 2017. A ten minute walk brings you to Trearddur Bay's European Blue Flag sandy beach. This is a perfect area for peace and relaxation with many local facilities including diving, sailing, fishing, walking and golf. Golfers can choose between a 9-hole or an 18-hole championship course, both easily accessible from the village. Foodies are well catered for with a number of fine restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Cycle hire is available within the local area of Holy Island. The coastline is a walker's paradise and is part of Anglesey's 125-mile coastal footpath most of which is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

If you like bird watching (or simply enjoy breathtaking scenery) why not visit the award-winning RSPB Reserve, Visitor Centre and cafe near South Stack Lighthouse just along the coast (you can also visit the lighthouse during the summer months). Local nature reserves include the 200 acre Penrhos Coastal Park, with woodland walks, picnic areas, flower meadows, and many species of wading bird and wildfowl.

The nearby town of Holyhead has the longest breakwater in the UK whilst the Breakwater Country Park has some stunning scenery set against the backdrop of Holyhead Mountain. Facing the breakwater is the promenade, a marina, and maritime museum (with an excellent bistro). The town is also famous as a main access route to Ireland -- only 90 minutes away by fast ferry. Take a walk through the town centre which boasts a variety of shops, the ancient church of St Cybi enclosed within Roman walls, and the contrasting 21st century Celtic Gateway Bridge linking the town high street to the ferry and railway terminals. The Ucheldre Centre is always worth a visit - this converted convent is an arts treasure trove of books, paintings and exhibitions. It includes a theatre hall - for concerts, plays, films & other events - and an excellent licensed cafe/restaurant where you can also check out (and buy) paintings by local artists.

For something different take a trip to nearby RAF Valley (also the home of Anglesey Airport (Maes Awyr Mon) which has daily flights to Cardiff). Watch the pilots training as they take off and land the fast jets. This was also the base for the yellow Sea King Search and Rescue Helicopters which have saved many lives (you could sometimes observe them on training exercises close to rocky cliffs between Trearddur and Porthdafarch). In 2015 the Search and Rescue service was contracted out and transferred to Caernarfon Airport . As a helicopter pilot Prince William did his training at RAF Valley and spent three years on Search & Rescue missions from 2010 to 2013. He and Kate were sad to leave Anglesey describing it as 'beautiful' and 'an immensely special place' adding that they looked forward to return visits. Trearddur Bay is especially significant for the royal couple as it was here, in February 2011 - two months before they married - that they carried out their first official engagement together by naming the new RNLI lifeboat the 'Hereford Endeavour'. Look for the wall plaque showing the name 'Catherine Middleton' !

Anglesey has so much to offer -- like red squirrels, ancient sites, visitor attractions (Sea Zoo, Model Village, Foel Farm Park, Pili Palas Nature World, Beaumaris Castle, Plas Newydd Country House --- to name but a few) as well as arts centres, museums, ancient sites, forests, lakes, including the village with the longest name in Britain ! It has some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK, magnificent sunsets, fabulous beaches, and is reputedly the driest county in Wales. Here, you really can get off the beaten track and chill out. With a distinctive mystique and peculiar charm all its own maybe it's why visitors return year after year....
